um, he spared konoha nins, he spared kakashit and asuma and even kurenai when he could have easily killed any of them. shit, even when facing jiraiya it was clear he didnt want to harm jiraiya or nothing. after that theres been more instances, but i suggest you just try to read the damn manga. it didnt clearly put it like itachi is good, it made it seem like there where ulterior motives to what he was doing. shit even when talking with other aka members the shit was noticable.

After all, wasn’t the plan to wait and gather the Kyuubis when everything was prepared? If they grabbed him there then what? Keep running because the Hidden Leaf is all up on your ass? He’s also been there to kill the kyuubis they did capture. We don’t know everything he did with the organization because they never show it. I, for one, will not assume what he did with Akatsuki when the writer of the story has never shown any of it.

well, i think it does. i didn’t expect something like this to reveal before itachi died because of all the narrative suspense. retrospectively since sasuke commented on the crying very early on it adds up to the revelation and it is evidence enough for me to believe kishimoto planed this since the beginning. i am not trying to convince you though. i am just providing the hint since you were asking for it. whether you believe it or not is up to you.
