I’m actually glad that Kishimoto decided to have Naruto’s class in the “traditional” shinobi garb as opposed to their regular outfits in the current manga arc. I do want Hinata out of that jacket though hahaha!

WoW ur right…I didn’t realize it until u mentioned it. It is gonna get tired fer sure. But zabuza/haku and itachi don’t have strong emotional counterparts in the shinobi alliance IMO. What I wonder is if itachi is gonna have mangekyo (lol no eyeballs no jutsu) /susanoo/whatever that sword shit is called. Cuz iirc the sauce ‘inherited’ that shit.
Since Kabuto’s version of Impure World Resurrection seems to be more advanced than Orochimaru’s, I’m guessing that Kabuto’s minions will have their abilities prior to their respective deaths. When Orochimaru summoned the First and Second Hokages in his battle with Sarutobi Hiruzen, they were both able to perform their trademark jutsu.
According to THIS article on the Naruto Wiki, the person summoned has access to his/her memories and abilities whilst alive and also retains his/her personality.
I can’t remember the first and second hokage’s trademark jutsu’s…but are they reliant on a physical body part or a bloodline trait?
This whole ability in general fucking pisses me off. This guy summoned a horde of people…half of which can kick his ass…AT THE SAME TIME LOL? That article u linked says they can’t be killed except by removing their soul?

It’s not certain if the Second was also in possession of Senju Hashirama’s wood element, but in Orochimaru’s fight against the Third, the summoned Hashirama was seen using the aforementioned wood element which is his bloodline trait.
Hah, yeah, that technique is all sorts of broken. Madara himself is already cheap as can be (Sharingan + Rinnegan + that funky stuff he does not counting both dojutsu) and now Kabuto has summoned some of the baddest shinobi ever? Itachi with his Mangekyo abilities is already insanely powerful.
I’m not sure how the battles are going to unfold. I’m guessing the good guys will somehow find a way to get through to the personalities of the summoned shinobi even though Kabuto has stated that he can effectively remove said personalities.
Anyone else notice Jiraiya was nowhere to be found? Still could happen, but I hope he’s still kicking somewhere. Didn’t see Kisame either but maybe thats because there was no body left?
Most of the bad guys in the series turned out to be good guys in the end, so Kabuto is more than likely going to have to wipe them away.
Has there been any more spec as to who the “secret” resurrected body is?

Remember, all Edo Tensei needs is a random body and some dirt, and for the dead’s soul not to be sealed away. So Jiraiya would be fair game. …And will probably show up at some point.

If a sealed soul is off limits then it stands to reason that Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina cannot be revived as Minato used the Shiki Fujin (Dead Demon Consuming Seal) to seal the Kyubi’s chakra into Naruto effectively resulting in the consummation of both his (Minato’s) and Kushina’s souls.
How were the 1st and 2nd brought back the first time then? Or did the 3rd seal them away along with himself? And how exactly is Orochimaru sealed? He was killed then absorbed by Sasuke when he manifested, he was killed again by Itachi. Where was he sealed? I also think he’ll eventually come back through Kabuto.
When the 3rd sealed the 1st and 2nd, that effectively prevented them from being brought back again.
Orochimaru wasn’t killed, he was sealed away by Itachi’s Susano. I dunno how it works compared to the Death God seal, but I would imagine it would prevent him from being brought back by Edo Tensei…I don’t even think he’s technically dead.
