Man, zombies really are everywhere these days. This whole zombie apocalypse in Naruto makes me feel like it’s fanfiction or filler. Seriously, it’s like “Red Un-Dead Redemption”.

That’s not what i mean, i was only talking about the speech bit with garaa and the scuffles in the ranks. For one is stuff we’ve heard from garaa more than once, and 2nd it was drawn and written in such a ham fisted and patronising way. I understand it’s a childrens manga but a lot of young adults read it and normally the writing is considerate of that. here it was literally like i was being spoon fed pureed shit that was corny and rehashed.

Nobody’s incessant bitching will change how Kishi is going to write it. It probably won’t even change how often you read his work. IMO I don’t think there was anything wrong with the speech. I thought it was kinda justified.
I’m hyped to see where this will go. Not so hyped about a war between humans and zombies. Something about having thousands of key battles were characters are recalling memories doesn’t really move me.
If anything this battle/war is probably just filler for Naruto to make an entrance and for Sasuke to try spoil it.
i rememeber the exact moment when i decided to never watch a naruto filler ever again.
it was an episode where he had to go catch a FUCKING POKEMON.

I stopped watching the filler at whatever episode the random cowboy ninja judo chopped the younger team 7 into unconsciousness.

Looks like it’s going to be filler until the end of the year.
I’m kind of mixed on the zombies thing. On one hand, wow zombies cool. On the other hand, I can see the “I’m having trouble fighting this zombie who was very important to me” think getting tired after 2 or 3, and look how many there are - I’m sure we’ll see the battles with Zabuza/Haku, Asuma, Dan, Hyuga daddy, and maybe Itachi.
Speaking of Itachi, I’m still curious as to what “power” it is of his that he gave Naruto.
