I know all of these people have ties to major characters in the series, BUT DAN WTF, dude in in like 3 pages on this Manga and was aparently just some random Jounin who wanted to be hokage or something, with no kind of skill backup on that claim. I know Orochimaru would have probably know he was important to Tsunade, but hes still some random in a room full of Kages.

You’re assuming that the guy is a scrub. If I remember things correctly his stats weren’t half bad. For all we know he could have been close to Jiraiya and Orochimaru in strength ( before death).

seems a good number of strong shinobi are familiar with what it is… stands to reason that if 2nd Hokage, Orochi, and Kabuto use the jutsu [and two of them are dead], someone should have another necro jutsu to free the soul or just one jutsu that messes with the mind control aspect. Another village should have considered developing a counter to the 2nd hokage’s jutsu… perhaps the honorable grandson of a former Raikage… :wonder: happens to look like huey freeman
