How would one practice a technique that kills the user? For that matter how would it be developed, then taught, if its use would kill the one most qualified to teach it.

there are 8 gates…you’d practice opening the first 7, you know, the ones that won’t kill you.
the 8th gate kills a normal guy who can achieve it. gai? fuck no, i think he might actually survive it and shrug it off like nothing happened. what makes you guys think hed actually feel anything from going 8 gates? dude went 6 and 7 without breaking a sweat or muscle aches. (look at rock lee with just 5 gates).
also sasori wasnt stupid, he just gave up (not like he had that much to offer anymore, he had used up his strongest (3rd kazekage) and second best techs (100 puppets), then desided to give up cause he had enough of it.
kakuzu got tricked more legit than hidan. they needed multiple nins for the job, and a naruto finisher move.
I was thinking in a more general sense than just the 8 gates [like sasori’s grandma, and random DB tech] but lets put it into practice.
Lets say moving you 8 little toes unlock untold power [but not the big ones… that’s just crazy talk] and if you move them all [particularly the left pinky toe] you die. So you practice moving 7 of the 8 toes [never moving the left pinky toe… ever] how would you move the 8th when needed?
but then… i guess if they practice opening each gate individually [ie move each toe by them self] the flood of chakra would not kill them as all gates would not be open. So Guy could practice by opening the 8th gate with all others shut, and not risk death. still makes me wonder about an associated taijutsu only usable with 8 gates open [ie like Tiger canon is w/ 7 gates]
the gates are numbered bcuz they’re sequential. you can’t open the 2nd without opening the first, and so on. when rock opened the 5th gate in a fight, he opened 1-5. the same goes for gai. he opened the 6th before the 7th…you can’t just practice opening the 8th without opening the ones before it.
Eh imagine going through a hallway with several doors that only open into the same hallway straight ahead. You represent chakra. What I understand is that you have to open the 1st through 7th doors before you can open the 8th door. At least that what the illustration seemed to imply.

Would you consider Pein’s wi-fi jutsu or Oro’s necro-summon jutsu better for an uchia with mad pew-pew powas and why?
Depends on associated hacks. Strider in MvC2 was ‘meh’ unless paired with the right tools.
Pein’s wi-fi was effective because he could heal himself instantaneously…but that wasn’t based on the wi-fi, it was a technique he layered with it. Compared to Oro’s who were nigh indestructible, and at least to our knowledge require no actual ‘wear and tear’ on the user…make this seal, drop it in, and tell them waht to do. There is no constant drain of trying to keep bodies moving, etc.
So if we are talking ‘stock’…then I’ll take that Necro shit. However if we are talking with technique assit, Pein’s wi-fi allowed him to protect himself and act as a one man team…so unlike the necro - its a perfectly executed team with a common goal. However, Necro gives you access to some strong ass nins…so its really a toss-up on ‘other weapons’.
So will we get a ‘necro kisame’ when he’s ultimatly peaced out?

not only that but when he came out of the shadows his hair was still original madara style. also, he only opened one eye and not both which you would think he would have done. that is, unless he just really wanted to wink at kisame lol.

Or, it is the same eye that is shown through the mask. His right eye. The left eye has always been covered. So he most likely had his mask on in the darkness regardless.
I don’t think those scenes really confirm anything. If anything, this only confirms that Kisame believes him to be Madara. Which, in this manga, really confirms nothing; Thanks to Sharingan hacks. I for one still believe that the true identity of Madara is still up for grabs.

it wasn’t exactly a haircut so much as some weird shit she did to … fuck i don’t even remember the reason it happened. didn’t she cry or some shit though before/during that moment? for some reason i can’t remember why but i do remember it being important to her and not something casually done. then again i’m not saying it isn’t impossible and it would be important for madara to get a fade if he’s trying to be undercover brother. yet, why is he rocking it out while controlling the mizukage but not when he’s running the bushwackers (since they pretty much always job)?
