I’m NOT suggesting they get to Sasuke/Naruto levels - as your right that would cheapen everyone, but as it stands they are completly uselss, not even fodder nin. Shikamaru got a moment to shine against Akatsuki, but everyone else has been under developed IMO post time skip. I’d just like them to get enough of an upgrade to actually be worth showcasing in a side fight…the same way Kakashi and Guy are right now…they aren’t Kage level guys, but they are still effective enough to randomly pop up or hold there own temporariloy against a real threat. If “Kiba” or “Rock Lee” or “Sakura” come in contact with Kisame…can they even stand to be in his presence? I understand them all not getting to that point, but come on, give us SOMEONE else besides Sasuke/Naruto. Hell, even lveling up Sakura would be nice. She doesn’t need to be broken, but the same way Sasuke/Naruto/Sakura were imagined as the next “legendary Saanin” - while tsunade seemed to alg abit, she was still relevent to Oro and J-man.
as much as I like shika, i don’t think he should be seen as the most relevant of the rookie nin next to nalto/sauce, yet sense his showing against Akatsuki he is… nalto and sauce have visibly surpassed their legendary saanin counter parts… lol, sakura doesn’t even have that jutsu.
when kabuto uses his edo necro ninja squad, I see Neji and Lee getting some shine.
Shikamaru is so broken. Give him a tailed beasts chakra and watch this mutha cover Konoha with his shadow. Or if he connects with someone else’s shadow then drag them down to a shadow world. Dude could be sick evil.

yeah hes like constantly building a bigger chakra pool to challenge naruto. i wouldnt be surprised if by the end or before it sas has blackkage level chakra and speed along with his ems. dude spams ms moves like they dont cost shit, which is good and bad. its bad cause it makes him look too powerful, and weak at the same time cause his base aint nowhere near the level of itachi (intellect, strategy, fighting style, speed). on the other hand, he needs his chakra enhanced to a point that he can throw big moves and still keep on going if he wishes to compete with nalto. imo it would have been way more impressive if he could use all those big moves, keep on going and then use a few more and then again. cept in the between times showing mastery of seal speeds, using his brain and bunshins to take less risk with his own body. a true growth instead of just getting stronger, better, faster and darker chakra. got a punk moment there.
Yeah, I mean Itachi does Susano’o, he pretty much dies from it. Sasuke does it…meh, no big deal. I mean, WTF? I mean, at least most of Naruto’s power progression makes sense. Sasuke…it’s like how I call Ichigo the Sasuke of Good, Sasuke is the Ichigo of evil.

I don’t know why people keep entertaining the thought that Madara is somehow going to get the Kyuubi. You DO realize that in order to complete the Jyuubi, he NEEDS the Kyuubi, right? And you DO realize that in order to get the Kyuubi, Naruto has to be captured and (probably) die.

They gotta have more rules to Edo Tensei. Maybe like, they need host bodies that uses the same chakra type as the intended summon. Or blood/dna/chakra and it needs to manifest for half the total life length of the deceased? Something, some kind of rules.
I’m 100 percent with you on that, I figure the only time we’ll gett to see any of the rookie 9 do anything - it will be against the necro-akatsuki. They were brought back to life after being the big bosses - to be super regular ninjas on the last level just like all the old school action games like Xmen and Bad Dudes “WTF we killed him on level 3!”
