nah too early for such a major death. j-mans wasnt that long ago. what would kakashi’s death have as an effect on naruto to progress him more…nothing really. yeah he’d be mad but kakashi has more to teach naruto…he has no other teachers right now unless they introduce someone new.
no i think kakashi will be on the brink of death and sage-ruto will show up just in the nick of time.
Maybe we’ll get to see some more of those 1000 jutsus instead of the Water Dragon and the Chidori.

If Kakashi is/was considered the “Copycat Ninja”, why isn’t/wasn’t there more copypasta on his part? At what point did he actually realize he could do things of his own accord?

IDK, there was this one filler chick in Naruto Shippuden fillers that did techniques of all the elements.
This made me think that kakashi should actually use some of his 1000 techniques hes learned.
Maybe copy a few techniques as well.
I am disappointed in Kakashi.

anybody who understands a shounen would have known kakashit wont die. same for all the konoha rookes. they gor armour. old, ugly and not 2 popular means it can be killed. meaning gai and jman could potentially die anytime. kaka or sasuke cant die or wont do so till the end of the manga comes.
Because Kishi loves DBZ, a “Kakashi is the teacher and knows all of Sasuke’s moves” comes to mind.

I don’t understand what you guys want from Kakashi. He tries to do what’s the most effective. What’s the point of him doing all of those jutsu if one or two strong ones will get it done? Even then he needs to conserve his chakra so he’ll rely on jutsus when he either needs to or to do damage.

Kakashi is the copy cat ninja. It makes him a more interesting character for him to copy even more techniques and use a variety of techniques.
Well, Kakashi is technically Hokage right now, so it’s highly unlikely anyone is dying in this upcoming fight (if you can even call it that)

He already is an interesting character. He taught the three main characters of the story how to be ninja. He’s become strong enough to be named Hokage. Him being known as the copy-cat ninja is more than just copying your justu to throw it back in your face. It has to do with his ability to adapt to the style he’s facing. He isn’t so one-dimensional as you want him to be.
My theory was always that by giving him these ‘1000’ moves, the filler guys have something to work with.
“Gee…we spent all this time animating NinjaX’s moves…we can’t just throw them away. I know! This can be one of the things that Kakashi has copied!”
