One thing thats so impressive about minato is how fast he was able to make an adjustment so fast as to how to attack him. Especially in comparison to how everyone else have dealt with him so far.

Minato is a genius, give shikamaru more time and more opportunities to fight harder opponents and he’ll be there. Minato has a nice mixup game, he can throw multiple kunais and choose which one to teleport to. It’s a near zero chakra technique too. We all need to get the fuck outta here.

I’d say Madara just isn’t as observant. There are characters smart enough to realize that Minato teleports to his Kunais and where his Kunais are in relation to them. The trick is figuring that part out before he mercs you I suppose. It appears that Madara DIDN’T know how Minatos tech worked while Minato figured out how Madaras worked easily.
That I’ll give Minato, quick wit, but a number of characters would have figured that shit out after seeing it one time. In function Haraishin isn’t too unlike a KB in that you think you got him and then you don’t. Haraishin just isn’t as obvious. Haven’t we seen the same concept before:
Kakuzu: I got him! poof
Naruto: RASENSHURIKEN!
its a 50/50 mixup - small risk big ass reward, will he teleport or not, guess wrong and youre dead, unless you use option select that is.
