ep. 170, 172, 173 are guaranteed filler then we get the final 2 ep. of the pain arc and after that a new filler arc starts.

appearantly is wasnt all that godlike to madara. even the strongest kage of konoha ever and the strongest living kage at that time pretty much got beasted my madara. and it doesnt even look like madara is even trying his best. seems the same as when he was playing with danzous guards.
I’m sure careful wording in the Google search box will tell you which are filler and which aren’t. I’m not saying this to be mean, either. I’m saying this because it’s been asked so many times in this thread. I know for a fact someone posted the filler/cannon episode list but I’m not digging it up.
So, I was noticing something originally they said that Rock Lee couldn’t use jutsu because he can’t control his chakra right? Well, in the fillers where they go to that star village, he’s seen using his chakra to stick to a wall. Now, I understand that they were just fillers and aren’t canon, but still did I just miss something or is his control just very very very limited? But even still, characters learned jutsu like transformation and substitution and things like that back at the academy, but they learn the running on water and up trees etc after graduation. How does that work?
The only reason given for why Lee isn’t able to use Nin/Genjutsu is because he has no talent for them. He’s always been able to control his chakra, he uses chakra for a lot of his high-level Taijutsu, and we’ve seen him walking on water during Team Gai’s fight with Kisame.
Water walking technically isn’t classified as Ninjutsu. It is a practice that makes use of chakra, but so are the Gates. Even so, the act of releasing the Gates alone have no place amongst Nin/Gen/Taijutsu.

Also, Gai can use jutsu, but chooses not to right? Because I don’t recall him ever saying that he has no talent for Ninjutsu.
Yeah, Gai can apparently use Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu. Taijutsu is just his specialty.

Madara’s the man. Since the fight isn’t over, I’m hoping for a little more from those two. Madara’s #1 with space-time manipulation, but Minato’s #1 with highspeed jutsu. Interesting.
And here we are with Naruto who with Sage + Fox can now use Flash speed (or should be able to - insert theory right there) and with his heritage should have access to the teleportation.
I wonder where the series goes form here though…we get backstory - the sole purpose of which is to get Naruto to hate Madara and set him up as the big baddie for realz…does this lead to the resurgence of Kisame, or does he ninja hat shit up longer? Or are we going to do the Uchiha equivalent and have Sasuke do his EMS shit…though thinking on it…
The only thing EMS really does is prevent burn-in of the eyes right? S ois it ‘really’ a big boost for Sasuke? He’s still limited by his ‘above normal but still a non-tailed beast’ reserve of chakra. shrug
