How’d this thread get so…gay?
I’ve decided to buy this game eventually as I liked the series. I was half decent player back in the day. How the online going so far?
I might get it for Christmas.
So I’m really getting crazy with unlocking shit. What’s the best way to get cash in the game?
The game looks sick. I will have this by the end of the month.
So I’m hearing the game is balanced, any possibilities of someone creating a tier list? Or just giving a “top 5” list?
I know 100% I will be maining Gaara, just sayin.
The thing is, the teleportation jutsu really throws any potential imbalances out the window. Even though it’s a bit of a “cheap” way to do it, it works. The first few games had some balance issues, even with this (Zabuza could do a BBAAA combo that did about 60% damage from a legit jab). This game doesn’t seem to have any of those at this time.
In terms of a top 5, that’s kind of tough to say. I’d say that, on smaller levels, Hidan is quite beastly. His projectile doesn’t go totally across the level, and that’s his only real problem. Anbu Kakashi is also quite good. His Chidori is basically this game’s equivalent of 3S Shippu Jinrai Kyaku. He can combo into it like nothing, and he can use it in a lot of situations. Hiruko/Sasori is crazy fast and really, really powerful (though I might just be grossly overestimating, like everyone else did when they saw boss-powered Seth in SF4).
Other guys who I can just wildly throw out there as potential top-5 characters include Jiraiya, Yugao, Naruto, regular Kakashi and Gaara, as long as LNPs are not shut off like morons.

I am a noob to the Wii. What types of controller do you all use? Moreover, what’s the best controller to use?
‘PERSONALLY…I PR-’…Ahem! I think Gamecube or classic controller is the way to go…I use GC. If you use Wii mote & nunchuk though you get the bonus of being able to do more damage during supers. I’d say that not many people use that control scheme but Rexx says he uses it lol.

Man that Webster guy is sooooo scrubby. It’s probably because he is soooo dark and black as hell. 
But yeah guys willvolution is the place to be for all your Naruto Revolution 3 greatness. Hopefully we win some new SRK members, and get them to play this game. IT IS VERY BALANCED. And, as said previously, the developers asked for the competitive community’s help (a.k.a willvolution.com) in making the game more balanced and tournament worthy.
Hopefully we’ll see this game soon at SRK tournament related events as well.
Ski: Fun combo video. Creative. Just watch for combos that ARE tech rollable. Some of those combos we not garunteed (either could be tech rolled or KNJed).

I’ve always found that when the DBZ/Naruto games are done right, coupled with people interested in playing them (I’m looking at you Budokai 2) the mind games and mix-ups, and combo potential are up there with any fighter. This game looks like much of the same. Along with my buds who some of which become super dedicated to games like these as they are diehard fans of the manga, one of which always looks for easy-button characters, which makes finding their counters all the more fun, this looks like I’ll get way more fun out of it than I did with Ultimate Ninja Storm, which substitution system was horribly flawed (just keep tapping r).

I’m the guy Digimonemporer was referring to. I’ve been with the series for several years, and have earned a respectable place in the tournament scene. I’d like to personally vouch that this game has some pretty decent balance and that it is on of the more fun in the series. I personally have faith that this game has some great potential to be back to what it was in the glory days of GNT4, and possibly even more.
A comment specifically to any players in MI that may be interested in picking up the game, or that already have it and want to work on improving:
I live in southeast MI (about a half hour outside of Detroit in a very good part of town) and am willing to help people learn the game better, and possibly begin a real MI scene. I was referred here by Dark_Kakashi, another well respected member of the tournament scene, because he had heard there were others interested in this game. If anyone is interested in playing, please send me a PM here, or if you want a quicker response send me one on the willvolution forums, since this is my first post here and I’m not in the habit of checking this website yet. I’m willing to travel (within reason), and am perfectly fine with hosting gatherings at my place. Get back to me, and I’ll try to remember to look back here.
I should pick this up, I have the Japanese GNTEX games…and they were really fun. Kisame is my main character, I look forward to playing some of you.

I’m a bit familiar with CON series. But what I hoping is that the imbalance of kankuro and kabuto. Have they been nerf reasonable? i hope they have so i can finally enjoy the game.’
From what I remember hearing, kabuto heal ability was broken and Kankuro was just over all too good and place in the top tiers. As much i like these character in the series I cant enjoy abusive characters in vs fighter.
