I’ll have this game by Christmas. Sasuke and Itachi is gonna whoop serious butt.
Itachi has a totally new moveset that is truly badass. In CONR2 his moveset was 95% him beasting all over the map with up to three shadow clones on-screen at a time. Now he’s actually this crazy-agile teleport-based character that zaps in, lands a hit and can 'port out. Really cool stuff.
Well, you gotta understand that a good amount of people in the community come from Smash, so when you have as many options as this game presents, they’re gonna look into or question just about everything. Not that I think that’s necessarily a bad thing. What’s funnier to me are the people complaining about winner character lock, and why time isn’t unlimited.
Then you have to take into account the bad experiences in the previous game (Ex3) where the LNPs were gimmicky as hell and hurt gameplay in a handful of spots. For example, in Ex3, once Kakazu’s health reached a certain point, he would take virtually no damage for the next 10 seconds. This also meant that he couldn’t gain chakra back while getting hit. It pretty much served no purpose except for dragging the match out. Another example is Chouji getting super armor for the rest of the game, for free.
All I want is for him to finally have access to the mangekyo sharrigan on a game, and for him to use Susanoo, Ameterasu, and Tsukiyomi.

I actually like the taisen/ COTN series. Glad some other like it as well. I actually like it over the accel series. For a Naruto game, IT is actually quite decent. Taisen 4 is where it is at though.
Heartnana will never compare to me in this game or BB. I mean Never.

the most recent trailer with Kakuzu and Hidan makes them look pretty awesome
Hidan’s projectile is crazy-fast and seriously strong, but it has horrible recovery. As the video shows, he also has one of the few ranged jutsus. Thing is, I’m yet to meet a Hidan that knows how to handle a long-distance fight (and Hidan is one of the most popular characters online). I’m feeling like Hidan is going to be really dependent on the match up.

I really fuckin hate trying to go through the story mode for Naruto. WTF @ Deidara having super armor, regenerating chakra and doing more fucking damage. I want to fucking shoot the person who thought that when people sat down to play through this that this would be fun.

I take part of that back…he doesn’t have regenerating chakra but those fucking plaster bombs he’s spamming all over the place hurt like a bitch!
