In JMONEY’s defense, the only reason he placed 9th was because I was his ride. He voluntarily DQ’d himself when he was due to fight in loser’s semi-finals so he wouldn’t be left stranded in Indiana.

Nope. Clayton hella leveled up in about 4 hours to place so well. Not to mention well timed advice from Frankie and hidden secret knowledge I imparted to him like, during the Super 4 tournament. “You can’t deal with Hulk, so I’ma beat you with Hulk till you LIKE beating him.”

Anyway I honestly doubt that if Clayton didn’t adapt half as well as he did he wouldn’t have placed so high up.

Good games and good times. Sorry for having to cancel TvC. Didn’t expect to get called for a few matches in a row, and by the time all was said and done I didn’t feel we had time to run through 10 people on one setup, double elim. And for single elim, $5 would have been more fair.
Ah well, maybe next time. The risks of running a side tourney.

No tourney results thread in sub forum? Even though ST and HDR didn’t have many entries the competition looked strong. GG’s to everyone I played. Sudden Death tourney was crazy. Went in 0-2 in Marvel 3. Maybe having Sentinel on my team might remedy that next time.

Also, I didn’t play FJ before I played Tuboware, I played Osirun, so result placements are a little off for SSF4.
There were hiccups because some people left, and some weren’t entered in the brackets so in a few cases, if it’s out of order, it’s the result of one of us (G/Banks/Myself/Humbag) rearranging some things during the tournament.
Also, I figured out how to better utilize challonge, though I might just use a different approach for brackets next time.
