Tron/Doom all day every day
Tron is good to go. She’s already taking down whole teams. Just a couple of things I noticed. I’m no pro, so take em with a grain of salt:
You had Hulk on AAA, and Chun on Lightning legs. Hulk is there to get people off you, Chun for combos, lockdown.
You didn’t have any horizontal space control. They were free to just harass you with projectiles until you were forced to go after them. Chuns Projectile sucks, so that leaves Hulk Gamma Wave assist. You’d have to change your B&B a lil bit, but it should still work with Hulk.
Chun can be your AAA if you decide you need it.
All they did was run from you. Do you really want to knock them up and away from Tron?
At any rate, IMO Hulk would be better on Gamma Wave assist, and Chun on AAA. Same team, but a lil more solid.

Sorry for all the loud noises and overhype on my part, but since their was a lack of it, I felt the need to step in. Didn’t do much training since I spent the week just enjoying Marvel 3, but now that this is over with, and I’ve spent some time after the tournament in the Lair of Greg and Bank, I feel the need to Run it back and train it up.
Giga: Yeah, me and you…Damn near a Kenshiro vs Souther match, lol. The rivalry will be handled either this week or the next at Tilt.

BTW, Giga…We were tied in Marvel 3 for 25th…Not that thats anything good, but had I not been late in getting back from the parking garage, me and you would have fought each other. Shame that didn’t happen, but you know we’re gonna make it happen.
Good advice, I definitely agree about needing an assist that helps Tron get in. Right now I’m experimenting with replacing Chun with Amaterasu. Chun’s probably my weakest point character, and I only ever really use her assist to combo off an OTG. Ammy’s cold star assist should cover the space in front of Tron helping her get in more, plus I don’t have to give up that sweet, sweet hulk AA. Cold star also offers similar OTG setup options as lightning legs, and it should have a lot more utility outside of that. So hopefully this team works out!
I’ve experimented with Chun’s AAA, and honestly it’s pretty ass. It gets stuffed all day, while Hulk’s goes through everything. Her legs assist is obviously GDLK, but it works way better for characters who can dash up and apply pressure when it’s blocked (or to combo if it hits), like Magneto, Storm, x-23 etc. Tron’s just too slow to make that assist work well outside of combos.

that is mad shitty. humbag goes to like every indianapolis tournament that i’ve heard of for like 3 or 4 years now and people are cheering AGAINST HIM? wtf
I for one was cheering for both Humbag and Frankie. Humbag because of Taskmaster, Frankie cuz he bodied me, and both because their sets were hype.
I understand his reasons for being upset, but the bottom line, is that Frankie had the passion in his eyes for victory. He even teared up when he won. You could tell he wanted the win more.
Might sound cheesy, but I respect players that really put it all on the line like that to be the best at something. THAT and, Humbag used Sentinel…Nuff said.

I hear that. If I’m gonna cheer someone on it will be with general comments like “keep focused”, “you got this” etc. not subtle jibes to another opponent like “he doesn’t know what to do”. That’s kind of disrespectful. Either way it sounded like a hype GF. We ended up having to leave before it started.
It probably didn’t really help your cause when the minute you lost you were like “THIS SYSTEM CAN’T EVEN KEEP UP WITH THIS GAME” and making excuses and stuff.
The NTC SSFIV Winners Finals / Grand Final set should be up soon (Some vids are still in the middle of processing) as for the MvC3 matches that I’ve captured, I’ve got 16 total matches incoming. We were pressed for time at the end of the night for MvC3 so outside of the footage that I was able to grab on my phone I don’t think that anyone bothered to record / capture grand finals…in fact I dipped out early myself. I don’t even know who one MvC3…

Sry guys…but I just watched some of the match vids I just posted at the frame rate is not correct. You can Enjoy these for now, but I will be reposting these vids…the quality is just not up to snuff for me, I’m better than that. But like I said, enjoy these for now but I will be reposting tonight.

Cause it is fucking true. Also I had been saying that the ps3 version is ass the day the game came out. I make no excuse why I lost. Frankie outplayed me, the game sucking ass on ps3 (which frankie has agreed on with me) didnt have anything do to with it.

@Shadow: yes I am a tourny regular and have had even worse yelled in my ear. I love hype just not silly things yelled in my ear especially coming from people I do not know. Try having Steve Harrison litterally one inch from your ear yelling while playing against Justin Wong and try to perform lol.
