First namco mod, parts and powder coat courtesy of rosserrooster.
The button switches were switched out for sanwas, so now they have a seimitsu feel with sanwa resistance and the joystick is all stock except the microswitches are sanwa JLFs.
I also kept the same pcb. Nice and easy first mod, definitely happy with it.
----BTW, if someone happens to have 2 of those little yellow buttons, PM me.
Got my first namco today from eBay Iām pretty sure that itās never been used the ball top still has a fresh seam and the buttons have no scuffs from play need to open it up but tonight I have a shit load of ps1/ps2 games to play first )
Hello all, since this is Namco Stick Appreciation thread, and I appreciate the Namco stick, I thought it would be appropriate to post this here. If it is not, please forgive me
I am turning my Etokki Omni into a Namco. Here is my tribute template:
I will be using a Seimitsu LS-32 and PS-14-G flat topped buttons. The last two will either be black PS-14-Gs or button caps. What do you think? Any tweaks I need to make? Just waiting for my parts from Akishop, itās taking an extremely long time. Hope theyāre not out of business or anything
EDIT: Here it is, I think it turned out quite nicely
LS-32 with 20g Zippyy Microswitches, Seimitsu PS-14-G buttons, Sanwas on top panel
I think I got it down quite well, right down to the flat-topped buttons haha
I was joking. You asked if it āimproved your game.ā I was implying that these switches improved my game to the point that I can beat anybody who challenges me.

I heard alot people prefering the microswitches it came with than the sanwa swithces and vice versa. I have a namco stick but not sure whether to change them or not just abit confused on what to do.
Just picked this up today from a local used game store for $30 after testing it out in the store. The bottom panel has some rust along the side but other than that itās in good condition. Iām liking the stock parts so far so I think Iāll hold off on modding it. I think Iāll just add a shaft cover to it for now.
