Se he didn’t get it because of what we said in the Thread he made?
Laugh.

Man, I would have asked him too if I knew.
He never posted anything else in his Thread.
He only did one Post, the initial asking why Namco cool.

Yea I didn’t wait a minute. As soon as I read he didn’t purchase it I immediately pmd him as to where he saw it. It was at Half Price Books, some chain tha also sells random old as computer games cheap.

When I called, some old guy answered. I very clearly explained I was looking for a Namco arcade stick, but I heard him yelling across the store “What’s a Namco?” several times for like 3 minutes. Was so worth the phone call for that alone haha.

I’m just so happy about all of this, feel like I found buried treasure. After seeing some of the steals you guys have found, I’m glad to say I’ve joined the club. Time to start checking out some thrift stores, I would love to find a boxed one.

Meus you have a very beautiful collection. Do you ever use any of them?

most of them are for my collection, i only use 2 namco’s one wireless for ps3, other dual mod ps3 and xbox 360 and soon 3rd all sanwa parts with MC with every console builded except 360.

Nice, could you post some pics of them inside and out sometime? I’d like to see how you installed that.

Right im lazy to show my 2 namco’s mods will post pics soon.

The third one looks like this from the seller im buying from.

Is there enough room to put a 360 pcb in there along with the stock PSX pcb?

Also, how long do the stock parts last?

Look at the Post of Nefarus above.
And look at this picture of networkingyuppy.

The 360 pcb might be a bit squished but it’s probably doable. As for your 2nd question, 14 years now.

I am very appreciative of my recent purchase. One question i have to ask, what is the best method of cleaning the stick? I’d like to give it a good scrub from top to bottom, the shell mostly but also the joystick and buttons. Is rubbing alcohol safe to use? If not, what’s the best thing?

Where could i get one of these babies. when to a tourny and i saw someone with it and i tried it and fell inlove.
also its great if ur bringing it somewhere

People on the site have them from time to time, otherwise ebay

Did u went to the tourny on dupont and lansdowne for friday and saturday. The person who had the namco stick was it korean Guy that u borrowered from. If so he come to my house and bought some parts with the namco u played with…

i sold that namco stick on friday night and he told me he going to use it on saturday match.

I recently got a Namco (PAL) boxed for £26.50. The box isn’t in the best of conditions and has no inserts - but I don’t really care. The stick is mint though.

My question is: which is the most up to date JLF install guide?

That said though, the stock stick and buttons are the best I’ve used from a stock stick.

Rubbing alcohol can damage certain types of PVC (mostly the way it looks), I once used zippo fluid to clean up the plastic after I did panel lining on a Gundam kit. Bad idea, the plastic is going to white out after a few days and gets a strange feel to it. After another month though, it’ll start looking normal again.
I’m sure sturdier plastics go into namco sticks but hey better safe than sorry.

LOL i was using it a bit that day lol great stick loved the buttons
u should sell me one.
seriously.

loooool that was me at the tourney with the namco

lol i need one

I can hook u one up sswiss and u can come over at my place to get the namco stick.

Man i wish i lived in the US or Japan, it’s impossible to fins Namcos over here
Been in love with the Namco ever since i played on one a month ago! I have to skulk the sales forum and hope to find one cheap xD shipping kills!
