What do you mean again? I just killed Thor without using a meter. Thats a first.
I remember you posted a video of you killing Thor solo from zero meter, but I think you spend one bar (built 2.something net). Do you mean you don’t spend any meter with this new combo? Are assists needed?

If only I had a working copy of the game. Video gave me the idea of jumping Tools H with Break the Witness (in long combos, the last, wallbouncing hit will not connect) into Tools M. Still probably coundn’t come close in damage, though.

Hey, when you guys do a combo with a standard ground and air series, then do jumping tools of survival H into qcb+M zombie, how do you get it to consistently work? They seem to pop out before I can even launch. Is it a spacing thing? I’m talking about doing it in the corner, if that makes a difference.
I typically do the L zombie.
If you space it properly you can do a M zombie toss for a level 3 and you can do a L zombie always for level 4/5.
I haven’t had a chance to look through to see if it’s old news, but the other day I actually found a combo that nets 50 PP with Frank off of a cr.H, solo. The only real problem is that you have to be further than mid-screen from the corner for it to work, and you have to actually, you know… get a hit with level 1 Frank.
I was hype, though.

It actually does it without X-Factor. I wish I had done it on stream this weekend, I’ll try to get someone to record it soon, but the notation goes like this:
cr.H -> S -> immediate j.M, Tools of Survival L -> Tools of Survival L -> j.M, slight delay, j.M, land -> Snapshot, slight delay, Blue Light Special (mashmashmashmash) -> wavedash, S -> super jump, J.HS -> land, Snapshot

The combo begins around 11:11:40. Also, rewatching this, I’m horrible at teching throws.
Still have your ground bounce too. Useful depending on your assist.
Yeah, actually, you’re right. With two asissts it’s easily a level 5 combo, with 1 it’s possibly a level 5 combo. I had actually only developed this combo for those times when you’re stuck with solo Frank Wack, since with the team I play any hit with Frank + Assists should get Level 4/5 anyway, but it can be useful for those times when he’s snapped in, I’d suppose.
