Just raw FFC? Terrible.
Badly, he has no options against a tight setup. If you want to test their setup you can mash j.L, or try and knee drop, but your best (and only solid) option is to just try and block it out.

Oh but it’s an hilarious move to throw out if you feel they’re gonna press buttons. And you can always try to guardbreak them with a j.S first.

Most people have shitty setups though. If they stay on the ground I usually bring out the chainsaws until they prove that they can set up a good string.

Ugh, I love dirty incomming mixups with Frank and Strider.
Call Strider—> Roll on incomming–> Release H Zombie (this alone is a 50/50)–> Strider hits, Release L Zombie–>Zombie Swing L.
That uses up all three of my zombies, and allows for easy confirms off any hit. If my opponent has a double jump or air mobility, the H Zombie and Vajira catch them and make for a confirm, no Air mobility and you’re not blocking any of this period lol.
Also, if i notice my opponent mashing buttons, during any part of this setup I can FFC them.
In lvl 5, Shopping Cart assist is increased with 10% damage.
Hey, probably a horribly noobish question, but, I’m trying out Wolverine/Frank West/Wesker, and I can’t seem to do the TAC combo Noel Brown is doing. The problem I have is, I can’t ever get snapshot -> hyper after landing, my enemy always falls out. Is there any trick to this? I did notice Noel calls Wesker assist, but I’m not sure at what point - when I tried to call it so the assist hits the same time as snapshot does, they fall out as well.
Cancel the OTG snapshot into the hyper. You’re probably not getting enough damage from the shot to justify putting it in. Also, if the combo scaled enough you will NOT have enough time to call an assist. Just take the snapshot.
No; the issue is that when you hit them with a Knee drop from TAC height they bounce on the ground and are considered airborne. If you snap once you land they’ll flip. Wait until they’re considered grounded.
Stop doing god damn TACs with wolverine.
Wolverine can get Frank to 4 with a DHC from fatal claw people. This is like Day 1 Frank technology.

I don’t assume there are notations for this anywhere? I’m still not familiar with the moves enough that I can get the tech just from watching it… but if I understood correctly, is it Wolverine BnB, and after divekick just M, M, H, S, Wesker, Hyper?

I came up with some interesting Frank West combos off of his air S in level 3 and 4. This is what I have so far.
LVL 3: Air S-Jump H:qcf:L Tools-Falling H-Jump M-:qcf: L Tools-Falling H-S-MMHS-Picture for 27 hits.
(Trying to find something better solo but cannot…)
LVL 4: air S-MM-L Tools-Falling H-MHS-MMHS-picture
Need to work on getting my jumps after a g’bounce. Right now I just go into a relaunch.
Is it better to dash under after a ToSH after a FFC to get the corner or just do a combo?
In the lab hardcore all night and I found some good stuff.
Frank should ALWAYS be able to get to LEVEL 4 BY HIMSELF NO ASSISTS in TWO COMBOS. If you’re not, you’re not playing Frank well.
LVL 1 BNB to take you to lvl 3: CR M-CR H-S-Instant air M-L Tools of survival-falling H-quickly jump L-Jump L-Jump M-S- jumping H tools-CR H-S-MMHS-Snapshot
Lvl 3 BNB to level 4: CRM-H-S-Instant air M-QCFLx2-S-dash-ground H tools-CR H-S-MHS-Snapshot (this nets you like 27-28 hits i think but it should be enough with the extra leeway from the first combo if you do these two.)
The only problem I’m having is trying to find a MIDSCREEN combo solo frank to get him to level 5. I found that CR H is usually pretty good because it brings the opponent CLOSE to frank so he can try to do instant air m shenanigans but with the second L tools they get pushed wayyyyy too far away to combo into air S to set up for a ground bounce relaunch. I know the tech is there somewhere without using the wall bounce or corner positioning…just got to find it.
Honestly, outside of combos or FFC resets his wall bounce is pretty blah. It’s very situational and relies on corner positioning.
