okay, I rescind that statement. Maybe it’s possible with the drink, but in theory you’d need two lockdown assists, one for the drink and another for the double snapshot. Coldstar & Jam session probably, with 21 hits in between.

In a single combo? That sounds… challenging. You’d need a minimum of 4 snapshots in 1 combo, with the first snapshot before 9 hits, last snapshot after 50 hits. Not even sure that’s possible. Challenge accepted.

I’ll tell you both that I have done it. Uploading my solution now.

How is it that lvl1/2 franks are getting otg+relaunches? When I land a knee drop or throw or sjMMHS etc, I always have to end it there… but I also see beople get launches in those situations. What’s the move(s) to get em back up? Thanks!

Jump into the air and do QCF+H. It will create a ground bounce very low to the ground which can be followed up (quickly) with most of Frank’s attacks. Will only really work from an air string though. From a throw you are better off trying to do a roundhouse (lvl 2+) or a picture with an assist or just doing blue light special.

Either have an assist that wall bounces/ground bounces/holds them in place long enough that you can snap and then relaunch or you do a normal jump and time a ToS H to hit right before you land which will combo into a slide or S

FFC reset is cheating… That seems tons easier than the “normal” challenge.

Well if the reset is done properly and therefore inescapable doesn’t the entire combo have to be planned around it?

Also the second challenge adds those in but has the original parameters as well. Then from that point you also see that FFC resets your counter for number of hits and makes you get more hits that way.

Isn’t it only inescapable for certain characters?
And while it has the original parameters, it has all but the 1 MOST important parameter: its not 1 combo.
Meaning its not 4 snapshots in 1 combo, not limit to 2 assist calls, resets the HSD, etc.
It isn’t the hits that’s the hard part…

i was looking for a bomb loop, but i didn’t find anything substantial since i kept running into hsd problems. Maybe something w/ lvl2 frank, combo into tk-h.tools, cr.c, S+Joe Bomb assist, j.h, j.s (bomb explodes), m.rhoundhouse, Bomb etc, or something along those lines. I could figure out a way to block the bomb, combo then otg.

I was thinking through this in more depth and the thing about it is. Two assists for four snapshots is really difficult. Its going to have to come down to having something that allows you to nab two level ups in a row like Eye of Agamatto or Dark Hole.

I actually just thought of one and I will try to record it tomorrow.

Actually, when I think of it, if you allow THC, then its actually really easy assuming you can cancel snapshot into THC:
Combo->snapshot + jamsession (lvl 2)->relaunch-> snapshot XX THC with dante (lvl 3) -> snapshot (lvl 4) -> snapshot (lvl 5).

Also I think I found an optimized jump loop combo. Does 516k before snapshot.

Who cares if FFC is a reset? If they literally have no escape (which is over half the cast) and it fits the criterion then it’s the same as a combo since you’ll always land it as long as you execute it properly.

Heck, my team could do that challenge as a regular BnB lol. In fact the problem would be even Hulk (or Thor if he could be reset) would die before Frank hit level 5 in an actual match lol.

Zansam, I actually had to tone down the combo because it kept killing Hulk for a bit.

Fiddlestix, you cannot cancel into THC as far as I can tell its only a link. I could not link it off snapshot at all.

Actual match stuff=/= combo challenge tho. You’re talking about criterion for a challenge, with limitations that specifically make it more challenging. Might as well not bother if you’re only going to satisfy some of the criterion to your liking.

I see, if anything you can just substitute snap xx thc into snap + a2, hard knock down, THC for the same outcome.
I would say allow TAC but not THC, because I think that forces a bit more creativity? Not even sure. But Dante THC too good.

Lvl 1 Frank Jump Loop

Haven’t tested it on every character, but pretty sure its universal. I’ll break it down some more when I have the time.
It’s a bit tight in a few places, but not that hard.

You can do a jump loop+ ToS Loop off a Giant swing L, then go into another Tools loop afterward
