Yes because if the mechanics are good, that’s awesome, but how the game looks really does matter to get anyone to even PLAY it. I feel like getting some of my friends to play arcana was like pulling teeth cause some of them are like “i dont like 2D games” etc. People find it hard to get past initial impressions. I can’t say that i’m not like that either. What drew me to arcana WAS it’s cuteness level. In general, i like cute things. Arcana = cute. Therefore, i was drawn to it rather quickly.
However, for the opposite reason, i won’t play HnK. I dont like not-cute things. Therefore, i don’t like HnK and even tho Arcana and HnK have more things similar with eachother than any other game, i won’t play it. The fighting system might be good, yea, but the graphics aren’t the graphics of a game i’d want to play. A lot of people have that with Arcana, so i see where they’re coming from.
However, to act ignorant and say that everyone who likes it plays only cause they want to have sex with underage girls is like saying that anyone who likes predominantly male characters in a game wants to suck sweaty cock. Both are just as absurd.
i feel that no one should give a fuck about what other people think about their hobbies, shit they like to do, and especialy not the games they play. but i do understand what my friends are worried about.

i think it is kinda cool to have young girls filling the roles of typical fg characters. like the grappler with the blob thing looks awesome. alot of the girls look older, like that broad with the sword. i personally could care less about character design for the most part. hell there could be gays in a games and i wouldnt care. as long as there are a few that had some style, like vega or benimaru.

well there was this time i was playing cvs2 in the arcade against this skinny guy and he was dusting my ass (im not very good at cvs2) when i got down to my last character (sakura) i beat all three of his characters one by one by doing jumping deep forward kick then throw (you know the one where sakura chokes the shit outta ya) and i shit you not he started kicking the cab and crying!

just when we reached the parking area it was full of black tinted bmws (a few shitty lookin street racer rides as well) and a group of nasty lookin fucks where going into the arcade. lucky for us they didnt know where the fuck we where.
kengo was trying to act all tough n shit untill i reminded him how he and yuki looked when they realized we where dealing with yaks.
it was an adveture fo sho. the thing i learned from that experiance is that real yaks dont look anything like they do in the movies and that sakuras throw can get a brutha damn near killed. TRUE FUCKIN STORY.
