Pretty sure Spencer is better than either of them on actual teams though. Lots of mobility, lots of ability to convert combos from odd situations, good mix-ups on locked-down opponents.
Like I said I donāt play either one so I might be kind of off on this, but:
Magnum by itself is basically better than Ryu (this is heavily mitigated by Reload, though)
Grenade Launcher is a super-good lockdown hyper
Satellite Laser is probably the second best Storm level 3 (after For The Princess)
A lot of Chrisās other stuff is mediocre at best, though. :i_dunno: Like I said, Ryu can probably use his slightly-less-good stuff a lot better.
What I was trying to say originally is that Chris might look better than Ryu on paper but in a real match heās probably a lot worse.
Its⦠in the description⦠Tiger knee your special moves as a reversal. Do it as fast as possible with out actually leaving the ground and you gain some invincibility. Works for fireballs, throw specials whatever.
Itās like what megaman Steve said earlier. Jump startup has lower invincibility frames. So you combine that with a special move to cancel the jump and you can go through low hitting attacks if you time it right.
Mostly just a cool combovideo style trick, not super important to any kind of real match unles you have some kind of crazy read on your opponent.
oh was this posted before? We already know jumping does it, and tiger knee moves. But no one is jumping here. This is for ground moves, you can throw, fireball, whatever. I was just talking to clockwork about it to, thought it was new. Guess missed it being talked about before oh well.
ah ok good, I was gonna say I dont want to post something as being new if its not. Cuz thats what I thought,the idea that jumps have invincibility is known, but the idea of carrying them over to something else while grounded is something different.
1.Instant overhead divekick
Slow overhead that is reactable but this isnāt the point (or actually it is) you can use this move to do hard to blockables with tag, pretty easily.
2. Instant overhead fake xx fastfall into a low (looks unseeable)
3. Jhp xx divekick mixed up with jhp xx fastfall low
4. Airdash forward swoop into highs, airdash forward swoop into fastfall low or throw
5. One of the only characters in the game that can back and forward airdash in one jump without flight (makes his mobility extremely good and makes his ability to bait people excellent)
6. Fastfall is extremely strong in this game when combined with nice aerial mobility, he has swoop patterns out the asshole
7. Sweep (his slide) xx LK DP is a great confirm into tag plus an anti pushblock string plus a good way in and is good on block and hit
This little dude is a mixup master, has mobility and neutral and damage and thatās before we talk about his install.
His neutral pressure game might not be great from what Iām seeing because of his stubby normals⦠but put him behind a lockdown character and he looks like he can excel.
He looks like the marvel version of painwheel for me.
