@2:15 Yipes says you canāt 100% someone unless youāre the only character left on your team. Was this ever brought up before? Cause if you physically canāt kill without a reset then all this 100% combo stuff with 2 characters is impractical by default. I mean, they are resource intensive to begin with, but it would be worth it to get rid of a character (even if they try to counter switch). Now itās just a waste. Better off finding the most unblockable/untechable reset instead.
Would be interesting to find out. Not sure if thereās like extra scaling for those combos in actual matches or what.

Okay something Iāve noticed is that a ground bounce isnāt registered until the opponent actually hits the floor, meaning you can use jumping roundhouse to give them downward momentum and use an air dash to interrupt them bringing them lower to the ground for potential combo purposes.
For example I was messing around with Iron Man, c.hp, sj.hk, ad/df.lk, land, sj.lk, sj.hk. A very fast and tricky combo, but shows that you can use two ground bounce moves in a combo without capping out. Iām exploring the possibility of an infinite, unless I hit the wall of hit stun deterioration, to keep air dash cancelling j.hk and never truly let them hit the floor. After interrupting j.hk they reset back into neutral, so Iām gonna explore and see what kind of state this interrupted ground bounce state is and whether it resets other properties as well as ground bounce.

This was in 3 as well. Some combos, such as Haggarās corner combos, made great use of it. I believe wall bounces register on the initial hit now instead of when they approach the wall.
Do grab supers all have 0 startup after the super flash now? You might be able to pull some dirty shit by canceling Space Surge into them. Particularly Ghost Rider and Nemesis on account of their amazing poke attacks.
Characters fallling out of supers seems odd to me. Iām sure there will be TODs but it looks like, as of right now, itās better to go for resets.

Every time Iāve seen the counter switch tthe threat of the attack and not the attack seemed to stop the offense. Still early but it doesnāt look like folks know how to use it yet

At first he felt wack to me but then i realized that setting his grace of hoggath or whatever allows him to play a bit like menat⦠just throw the fireball and wait for it to find the grace then heatseek the opponent for frame advantage or a mixup. Also superjump daggers looks like it might be ok for wasting time zoning⦠and with the tag system he can throw out either strength of dagger⦠see the opponent about to ge hit or block⦠then quicly tag to the homie for the frame advantage.

Point Strange seems like a thing to me. Bolts converting from full screen is strong. As you mentioned already air fireballs into tag is definitely real. And Iām sure he still has the orb formations from Ultimate. Only thing that got nerfed is SoV into combo as the opponent is pushed to far high. But he looks good wherever.

Heās one of the best support characters in the game for other characters so heāll likely be high tier in assisting other characters. Almost doesnāt matter whether or not heās top tier on point IMO. Especially in a game where you can always just tag your support character out of trouble. Was watching Ryry do layered offense and screen clearing with having multiple Strange projectiles on the screen and then tagging in Strider to just make use of all of them at once.
If you hold down tag during soul storm your partner wonāt attack, good way to stagger pressure/create set ups.

I wonder if itās possible to stagger and combo soul surge during soul storm. Stuck at work so canāt test.

What is everyoneās opinion of Ms. Marvel?
Very solid. Likely high to top tier. Has just about everything you need for this game. Beam super that you can tag off off for a 1 meter THC essentially, good high/low game, solid beam projectile thatās good for assisting on tags, command grab, air dash/flight movement, pretty much no way sheās going to be anything but very solid. There might be a few characters that provide better support/assist than she does, but overall solidarity as a character is top notch.
Few questions. Is plinking in the game still?
Any major Strange players yet?
Is Dante moves like vanilla whee you motion twice or like umvc3
Is magic pixel still a thing?
Are there any changes to Advanced guarding? How long is throw techs? Meaning how lenient and how much time do you have to do it?
