yes, although for soul stone the second time you revive someone they only come back with a smidgen of health.
I imagine its also very hard to get a second revival period since you already used up your 50% bonus from the death, so the oroginal standing char must be basically at full or near full health.
About the big body stuff, if the space surge armor is hyper armor and doesn’t get beat by heavies then that may be another good stone for them. Not sure exactly what type of armor it is, but the fact that it pulls people towards them is good regardless. Plus the storm also benefits them greatly as you pretty much force the opponent to stay in your optimal range.
Im anticipating space stone surge to basically act like an invincible assist so it may be the stone for me to use. Basically put it on a ranged character or any character for that matter, when the opponent is attacking just mash on stone plus tag. The opponent gets pulled close into the armor to ensure it gets blocked and your character gets tagged in to confirm off the hit or or pressure on block.
Does the space surge armor get ignored by heavy attacks like all other armors?
Just seems like armor in general in this game might get blown up a lot, with all the characters whose heavies are their primary buttons (jumping or grounded), like Ultron’s triple overhead nonsense, Zero’s saber, Jedah’s whatever, Dorm’s fishhook, Haggar pipe, Nova’s dolphin kick or divey thing, wouldn’t all those go right through armor?
Ghost Rider won’t be top tier. Zoners are never top tier. Haven’t had a top tier dedicated zoner in Marvel since Cable. He’ll likely be top tier support though. Too many busted ass moves you can tag off of with him.
Morrigan and Haggar are both definitely gonna be good.
I said dedicated zoner. Morrigan is more of a hybrid zoner/rusher/trapper. All of the 4/8 way dashers have hybrid gameplay and not dedictated to zoning with limited mobility options like Cable or Ghost. Cable gets KOF short hop as the only other mobility option that Cable didn’t have. They both don’t have scummy multiple tri dash pressure either.
I have a feeling power stone is going to be the top gem, it’s like a weaker version of X-factor. It is safe on block and has 0 recovery in it, additionally it’s surge allows crazy ass damage with combos, especially those that can end in level 3’s.
I say Strider with Power Stone maybe top, or close to it. I’ve seen clock pull some cheezy loops with the character and I just imagine the damage of that if he had power stone activated.
