Been messing around with storm’s double typhoon assist with mags. It can otg in the bnb for you but since it has a massive startup what you wanna do is in your last rep, jump up and press H+assist, then do adf m, s. Double typhoon will then otg for you so you can hypergrav, whatever.

Also I’ve got a cool combo using double typhoon to add a gravity squeeze after magnetic shockwave (no kfc). Basically bnb (has to be midscreen, double typhoon doesn’t hit in the corner… sigh) and then end it with a grounded H+assist quickly cancel into shockwave. Shockwave will hit then double typhoon will snag one hit on them giving you time to gravity squeeze.

Still might do more testing with that assist.

Would also like to know the answer with this, having trouble with the timing.

Hello guys, I’m having issues with the most basic loop. The S>sj.H, airdash mk, land > rejump H. I seem to have problems linking the H when I rejump. Also is it a neutral jump, a regular jump, up-forward jump? A lot of notations doesn’t say. I honestly only have 2 hours to practice a day after work, so I really would like to know the trick to doing this. I have a tendancy to try to do things as fast as possible, but I’ve tried different timings, and I still can’t get the rejump. Sometimes the rejump H does connect, but it’s too low most of the time.

Yup…that was the BNB i was using…i even posted it lol. the most logic to be honest as well as fairly easy. though just as a PS or FYI, the air dash loop better be made into 3 loops instead of two (works on every chars as well) and anywhere. so if u wanna hit Gravity Squeeze beside the corner bracket u can do a forth loop ending with j.M, j.S or just simply St.H into shock wave and change chars.

and time to make a Magneto vid cause it has some stuff that people might enjoy!! will post the vid bout tomorrow (hoping all of mag fan likes it)

100% No assist no reset no XF corner combo on everybody except Sentinel, Thor, Hulk, Haggar or Tron Bonne

j.S, c.M, c.H, [S, j.H, addf, j.H, H, hyper grav, H]x2, S, j.H, adf, j.H, j.S, Gravity Squeeze, dash, H, hyper grav, Magnetic Tempest

damage: over 9000 lol (1,164,000)

to make it 100% on Sentinel, Thor, Hulk, Haggar, Tron Bonne, XF before Gravity Squeeze

they have to be high in the air when you press H. So press H as soon as you land (don’t worry if they are high, it will hit, trust me) and cancel to HG ASAP.

sj H adf M (PAUSE) H (H has to come out late right before you hit the ground). Then nj up forward at that them and repeat but do all 3 hits fast. Hold up forward the whole time like the Iron Man infinite if you played mvc2.

If you’re having trouble, swap H out for M, its a lot easier. So it would be launch H adf M H land [nj M adf M H] x 3

i saw 2 different combos which i mixed together and got a cool and very easy combo, not sure if its worth it but have a look, again, its very easy to pull off; [media=youtube]vJrxCm_1L7Q[/media] (button inputs in video information) Damage: 414 (before lvl3 hyper)

Seems 8 reps isn’t the max you can get from the ROM loop. Manage to get 10 on Hulk, probably large chars only. Will see if I can’t get more.

I’ve seen this happen as well. If you land a sj B/C as a counter hit at the right height you can easily get the 9 reps. It does seem to work for extra reps sometimes… hm.

If you only use B,C & E in that combo and OTG it does over 500k. Also, only using B,C while in flight you can get 3 air dashes in. Maybe 4, which can also lead to some nasty resets and mixups a la Yipes’ SJ.A, land, crossup shenans.

If you add a Grav squeeze it can do over 1000k

Edit: you have to wavedash and C,E after grav squeeze and finish the air combo.

I made this simple Combo vid for magneto…Basically just BNB’s and basic stuff for magneto only (tried to keep it as minimum as possible to only be Magneto Exclusive lol…just hard). but anyways, it’s really nothing that fancy…just take a look at it if your interested. hope u like it…it’s my start of MVC3 contribution, as well as my actual vid is on the making! will contain some stuff which u might find interesting if u main other chars (like Trish, Dead pool,Wolv, hesien ko as well as couple of other miscs)

I shall write down the transcript in case u wanted to know wut combo is it and wuts the idea behind every combo. Setups are not in this vid as well as traps…so when i finish my other act combo vid i will post it in here as well (a compilation actually)

I can’t get even two reps of the j.H addf j.H loop, the notation is [sj(9).H addf sj.H]xn right? I can hit the first loop, and then sometimes the first H of the second loop, but they’re usually too low to hit with the addf H. What am I screwing up here?

EDIT: It’s sj(7) isn’t it? Oh well, still getting the same problem anyway, so same question still.

02-This is to show that u can do the Jump H > ADF> j.M,j.h loopx4. in a huge combo string. it pushes towards the corner allowing for Hyper gravity loop or finisher making it either to gravity squeeze or use assist for a re launch. though it hinders the ability to use Magnetic tempest after squeeze at the end of the combo. somehow i think this is magneto’s second BNB in my opinion? due to the fact that it’s fairly easy as well as it pushes toward the corners

03-a simple xfactor combo, can be done anywhere even full screen, as well as works on all chars. the only way to pull it is depending on the distance and the loop. the further the distance, the more the loop “Re jump j.H > ADF> j.M,j.H” you can preform.the finisher can go even further more, u can add Magnetic gravity into XX Magnetic tempest, another assist loop…etc

#c.L,c.M,c.H XX Xfactor. dash st.S, Jump H > ADF> j.M,j.h. (Land) Re jump j.H > ADF> j.M,j.H (loop x2) (Land, opponent cornered). St.H, Hyper gravity, jump with H > ADF> j.H,j.S (Land).
Call assist (either viper, Deadpool or Wesker) Hyper gravity L, St.S, Jump with H,j.s (Knock down opponent, Land). XX gravity Squeeze. Dash forward st.s, jump with S (opponent re knock down, Land).

***04-Same exact idea as combo number 3. though this one using Fly mode and without X factor. I believe it easily pushes toward corners, but i bit i wont work full screen? not sure but i think so. Finisher can go for Hyper gravity L XX magnetic Tempest , though the luancher will be shortend into “Standing S” instead…same idea for another assist semi loop that ends with another J.S re knock.


#c.L,c.M,c.H,S. Jump H > ADF> j.M,j.h XX qcb+S(flight mode). Air flight Mode = j.m,j.h > Adf x3 , j.M,j.H,j.S.
Call assist (Viper , dead pool or wisker) , hyper gravity L, Jump with H,S (Land, knock down opponent, opponent cornered).Gravity Squeeze, Dash S, jump with S (re knock down)

05-The same exact idea as combo Number 2. though this is an example to show how to break the loop by wither shortening the Launcher inputs into “Standing S” in order to finish with Magnetic Tempest chain OR to break the loop by using an assist for a Small semi Loop into magnetic Squeeze (like wuts shown in the video).

06-Another Xfactor combo that can be done anywhere using flight mode. can be done anywhere cause you can simple dash fast after knock down to call assist and re launch, or just elongate the loop. though elongating the loop will hinder combo by not using magnetic tempest at the end or PulserXX Magnetic shockwave…both ways , this combo is 100% :S so no need to even do a gravity squeeze, u can just simply finish it with a regular 1 bar super or add another loop.

#c.L,c.M,c.H XX Xfactor XX dash st.S, jump with L,L,M,M XX Flight Mode. (in flight mode), L,M,H > ADF> (M,H > Adf x2)> j.h,j.M,j.S (Knock down opponent, Land).
Call assist, hyper Gravity L, St.S, jump with H,j.S (Re knock opponent, land). Gravity Squeeze, Dash with S, jump H,j.S (re knock opponent)

07-A simlpe double Gravity Squeeze. the loop can go for 5! due to the huge size like Haggar…though it will destroy any follow up after gravity Squeeze as well as u will cut short the small Assist into hyper gravity L semi Loop.
i was experimenting doing this combo beside the fact ur in the corner, and i t works without corner! though u will have to use an X factor to enhance ur speed Right after the squeeze >_> lol…and it pushes toward wall if ur full screen in that case.

#Opponent cornered. Gravity Squeeze (Opponent Knock down, land). Dash with S, jump with H > AD d,f > j.h (Land).(Land) Re jump j.H > ADF> j.M,j.H (loop x3) (Land). St.H, hyper gravity L, jump with H > ADF> S**.
Assist call (Dead pool, viper or wesker), hypoer gravity L, St.S, jump with H, J.S (Re knock down, land). Gravity Squeeze (re knock down) dash with S, jump with S ( re knock down).

**= " you can add j.H,j.M by shortening the first loop"

08-The same Exact Loop of the BNB, though after assist call, preform X Factor and go with WUTEVER u want…gravity squeeze followed by any of those ( Hyper gravity L XX tempest, or dash s, Jump h,j.S " if loop is very long), or Pulser H XX shock wave)

#After assist call (viper dead pool or wesker), X Factor active , dash with S, jump with j.H, j.S (knock down), gravity squeeze. dash with S, jump with S

09-From here are the out of bracket / non magneto combos…i didnt include all wut i did as i consider them non Magneto combos (kinda like compilation in that case). hopefully u will see a lot of them in my up coming video. Example: loop chain into calling Wolveriene with air f+s, for drill claw combo into Berserker Barrage Loop (with berserker charge).

in corner, Trish qcb+atk,atk. Call out Magneto. Magneto Lands, activate X factor, dash into .

call assist (dead pool), Hyper gravity L, st.S, jump with H > ADF> j.M,j.H (Land), St.H, Hyper gravity L, St.s, jump with H > ADf> j.h,j.S (knock down). Gravity Squeeze, Pulser H XX shock Wave.

10-Regular non assists, non x factor, 100% combo. also u dont have to have 4 bars. if u only have 2 Bar, this loop combo will let u gain the other 2 for the GS combo finisher

#S,Jump H > ADF> j.M,j.h. (Land) Re jump j.H > ADF> j.M,j.H (loop x3) (Land). Standing H, Hyper gravity L, jump with H > Adf> j.H,j.S (knock opponent down). gravity Squeeze, dash with Standing H XX hyper gravity L XX Magnetic Tempest.

11-Another X Factor Combo. I actually use this a lot due to the Fact that if my opponent didnt die, and that am in a good situation to go for a kill then i activate X factor for extra loop XX GS finisher.

#S,Jump H > ADF> j.M,j.h. (Land) Re jump j.H > ADF> j.M,j.H (loop x3) (Land). Standing H, Hyper gravity L, jump with H > Adf> j.H,j.S (knock opponent down).
Call Assist (Dead Pool, viper or wesker…etc), Hyper gravity L XX Magnetic tempest XX X Factor. dash with St.S, jump with H > ADf> j.H,j.S (knock Opponent down)(land). Gravity Squeeze, Pulser H XX Shock Wave

Ofcourse most of those X factor combo are like over kill…so i was just doin them to show that the capability to follow up combos with magneto is still possible even after over kill lol.

@xxteefxx: Watched your video, very impressive, looking forward to the next one, can’t wait to see some approach tactics and stuff. Anyways, I defiantly am going to start learning some of those combos you performed, anyways. A big favor… Would you consider editing the transcripts and using the new smileys? No pressure, but they are much easier on the eyes, and we have them for a reason.

Anyone able to tack addf to the end of this and hitting s.H instead of j.S? I need this combo so it doesn’t require an otg assist! :slight_smile:
