Thanks a lot for the input. I’ll give it a try next time I get a chance to play. I can do the H adf M H to fly cancel part fine, I think the real problem is not hitting the next attack (whatever it is) fast enough. I’m still being careful with my fly cancels because I sometimes get stupid team air combo instead hahaha. But I appreciate the advice, and hopefully I’ll be able to develop my Magneto some more.

Wow thanks so much for this. I’m finally starting to get the hang of this thanks to the L attack. Now the only thing I need to finish getting down is the timing between my air dashes and air H’s.

That’s the hardest part for me. I end up mashing A and C to try and get dash C as quickly as I can. :sweat:

I wonder if you can sort of plink C and dash with A and B so it’s just one motion…

I’m new to this game and I have sparked interested in Magneto. Could someone list for me the easiest Magneto bnbs/combos they can think of?

you can unfly in flight combos if you want to go for hyper gravity in the corner just unfly drop H, Stand H, Light hyper gravity into magnetic tempest. or you can go for shock-wave mid-screen rather that otg you get more hits

If you are doing the ROM in the corner and are able to combo into s.H xx L Hyper Grav…[Immediately SJ upback, ADDF > j.H, land, s.H xx L Hyper Grav] repeat.

Is it from ROM only?

I thought I can do any combo into hyper grav and then go for it.

Trying to do rom inifnite, any tips on getting super jumps to come out consistently? the rest of it seems easy outside of that

let the stick go to neutral as soon as you do addf

I’m still having a lot of trouble with mvc3 rom, and i find that strange because I’m very strong with execution.

I have spent a lot of time switching characters so i haven’t spent a lot of time on it, I’m using this button lay out

A, C, A1
B, S, A2

I find it akward to addf with A+B so I’ve been doing it with only A+C for dash and then C again for the combo.

I’ve only gotten a few reps down and it isn’t consistent, but with all these posts of people saying they are making progress I’d figure i’d ask for some help.

Try super jumping straight up, it’s not necessary to go up+back on most of the cast, might make it easier for you. Just keep practicing, it took me awhile.

Speaking of the Rom (H Loop) I can get it consistently on most of the cast up to like 20 hits, but the smaller characters like Wolv or Ammy seem to be a bit trickier, is there an easier variation I don’t know about or is it better to just go for something else on the vertically impaired?

Anyone? Easiest Mag combos?

Also, Magneto (Electromagnetic Disruptor)/Thor (Mighty Smash)/Dormammu (Black Hole)

Does that seem like a legit team? Am I missing something that a different assist could provide?

for the double tap method, you have to hit C really fast after you hit dash. personally, i would get down the A+B~C method though. its done like a reverse sf4 kara grab

you pretty much have to eye it. pay attention to their current height and do your j.Cs accordingly

i think the fly combo and BCB loop are both good starts

So a page back, I posted [media=youtube]xa6I9kH1VJk"[/media], which carries midscreen to corner, no assist, one meter and does 795k. I haven’t spent much time on the ROM loop (ie can’t do it yet!) and am curious how its damage/meter compares. If you do a ROM loop starting with jS, 2H and ending with the Hyper Grav loop into Tempest, what is the damage done and meter gained?

Dmg 770-800K, meter 2 stocks

Suppose I’ll put some time in on the Rom then because it covers a fair amount more screen and gets better meter.
