Wow thanks. What exactly is the UAD glitch with Taskmaster? I just started playing him recently and never heard of it.
At first everyone in this game could air dash. It was removed but there are remnants of it in the game still when conditions are met. As for escapes wesker has two escapes which were posted, task I believe can reverse into his super as well. Akuma is iffy sometimes he can whiff and escape sometimes do tatsu etc

air throw, air dash, Deadpool OTG, land, Web throw :l:, standing

Hey, are you the Kirby/MK player in the Knees of Justice? I think I played you at Brawl in the Hall… 4?
brawl in the hall? I don’t remember going to that? Where/when was it? Also I don’t play MK. I play kirby and ROB.
I’ve been working on a reset that ends in an air-to-air combo which I need help with ending. I’m not sure how legit the reset even is but here goes:
After around 10 hits (ground combos with Web Swings, Webzips, j.mmhs…) j.l forces the opponent to tech. If you cancel the j.l to j.h, the j.h will hit meaty. If they neutral tech, they get hit and you can follow up with a delayed j.s until you land to continue the combo (I can do this). If they block, you can cancel the j.h to Webzip for further pressure. I tried recording a dummy opponent to airthrow me but I don’t think they are able to.
To my surprise, this beats forward and back techs; it will hit them during the flip (they gain vertical height) but before they can move back or forward. It puts them in the exact same situation with either tech. But due to them gaining height, it requires a different air-to-air followup which is where I need help. After the meaty j.h, I landed h.web swing, j.h, j.s (land) l,m,h into whatever on Sentinel, but on other characters it tends not to work. s.m won’t hit after s.l (c.m starts up 3 frames faster and worked a few times) and more often then not the h. web swing crossed up mid screen, ruining the combo.
What I need to know is if there is a followup to this reset that isn’t specific on screen position, direction teched, or character for maximum laziness.
I think She-Hulk down + H will let her hit the ground fast enough to avoid the UWT.
No she slightly flips upwards before she drops

Made up a combo that kills Wolvie and probably anyone with 1 mil health when starting with a raw Maximum Spider:
Maximum Spider, lvl 1 XFC when you hit the ground, call OTG assist, Web Zip j.:h: j.:s: land st. st.:h: xx :h: Spider Sting~:h: land c.:h: :s: xx H Web Throw. SJ Maximum Spider. There’s probably far more efficient combos out there right now, but I sorta improvised today since I am without training mode. T____T
DHC Glitch Revisted
Okay so I’m sure most of you remember I talked about setups Spidey could use to activate the glitch and I posted one for Sentinel but somehow could not get to work again, damn my memory, well I found it again and noticed something as well. First off while it’s on my mind let me post the DHC glitch setup into HSF.
j:m: j:h: c:m: c:h: xx :l: web swing j:m: j:m: j:h: land j:m: j:h: xx :l: web ball xx MS DHC HSF
Doing this set up should make the second set of drones hit for 45k.
Now what I was noticing was that same combo never worked when I omitted the two piece at the beginning of the combo. It also didnt work when I added the two piece and substituted the crouching and :h: for their standing variants for more damage. Lastly it didnt work on another occasion where the web ball hit on like the twelfth or thirteenth hit but that one I cant confirm due to me forgetting the specifics of the combo at the time.
Not sure how that posted without me hitting send but anyways I’m still not quite sure what causes the glitch for him since it has constant setups so long as you use the entire setups but its not like storms, mags, trons where you can activate it whenever you get a short combo or very long combo.
Also that was another setup that can be used lower to the ground as well.
Hey Airborne and Xero, when you do those combos with web-zip, are those midscreen only? If not then, is there some height/timing requirement to doing those?
I get the web-zip to connect but rarely get the j.H and j.S afterward. Good work on the both vids btw. I been using spidey since day one and you guys have been constantly coming up with some amazing tech. Keep up the goods.
I think it’s more timing than height specific. I only ever hit it when using j.h, delayed j.s after l. web swing. It works in the corner too but I don’t think you can fully cross under them for the s.m, s.h, m.web throw if they’re cornered. If you are doing this in the corner you can get s to cross up for the auto-correct tk h.web throw into the corner. I don’t know if either of these situations are character specific or how to do them at all because I’ve only ever done them by accident.
its both timing and height specific. Because of character hitboxes and the way some characters juggle you have to vary the timing some but midscreen I try to keep them as high as possible to allow both moves to hit while allowing me to cross under properly before hitting s:m:. If you hit s:m: too soon youll do it on the starting side and then cross up with s:h: but your inputs would still be connected to the side s:m: came out on. When fully crossed up you get everything as normal and can web throw into the corner.
Thanks for the help guys. The zip is connecting now just have to slow down for the s.M,H connection.
Anytime.
Just tested that first setup you posted in response to my question with Wesker, it does work. What a weird version of the glitch that it needs such specific conditions to trigger it. I’ll keep exploring it anyways and see if I can find something else there to make sense of it. We’ll work this guy out!
Glad I could help

Hmmm, could you try that UWT reset with them teching forward//however to see if they can escape it that way? Seems interesting…
Greetings fellow Spider-men! I have come to offer you a combo. An assist-based DHC combo, to be specific. Use the team set-up; Spidey/X-23, and do the following:
:l:,,:h:, :rdp::h:, J.
,J.
,J.:s:, :l:,
,:h:, :dp::h:~:h:, cr.
,cr.:h:,:s:, J.:l:,J.:l:,J.
,J.
,J.:h:,J.:s:, :a1:(Ankle Slice), :hcb::l: XX :qcf::atk::atk: XX Dirt Nap,:s:
It yields 1,210,600 damage and is 42 hits. It works in the corner and midscreen, so you can do it at any location. It’s definitely not easy, but it is possible. Give it a shot, if you want. :tup:
