Her pendulum assist can swing twice if you hold the button. Pressing it, she swings forward and holding it, she’ll do a return trip.
that can’t be true, because assists only come out on negative edge. If you hold assist, it’ll tag.
Specifically, I want to know if you cancel it any time or only during the end of a swing.
I’m certain I’ve seen cancels midswing, can’t find the clip now.
I saw her cancel it during the middle of the swing during the stream.
Also, she did a REALLY FAST drop kick of some sort after she canceled it. Looked like Phoenix’s drop-kick. Nasty move for a surprise attack (if my eyes weren’t deceiving me).
The Tenraiha earthquake didn’t hit low in Savior, it was mid (you could block it either standing or crouching). It only hit low in Hunter.

I’m not sure if anybody has a ‘controllable’ assist, that’d be pretty damn useful tho’.

Anyway, on a more pertinent note, so far Hsien-Ko is looking like she’s got some -really- good assists. If she really can swing twice on the pendulum, I can see some really crazy pressure strings coming from that. Heck, even if she can only do one swing, that still sounds like solid pressure.
I see Lei Lei getting on teams just for assist alone.
Confirmed with darkunit yesterday, you hold the assist button to make her do the second swing. So it can be used both ways.

Could be tap the assist button to call her, then hold as she’s swinging. It wouldn’t result in a tag as you can’t tag with assists onscreen to my knowledge.

there are at least 2 things in that description that goes against all the rules of how assists work, or at least how we understand them
Though in all honesty I think he was talking about how the move controls while she’s on point rather than as an assist, I was just providing a possible explanation.
Nah, he specifically said as an assist. It does seem odd, considering no one else’s assist functions that way. Isn’t there a specific assist button now though?
