I have completely changed my mind about Phoenix today. She is broken as hell. She is a better rush down character than Wolverine and a better zone character than Trish and she has two lifes. It’s ridiculous. Broken Tier.
Get hype! Justin made a fighting chance but ultimately tokido got those x-factor combos with wolvie on wolvie. Props to tokido going to the states and winning. Now i can’t wait for some real anti-phoenix technology at EVO. Get HYPE!

Yeah people tried that. They stopped trying it after they lost 1 character for free and were halfway to losing their next character before pulling the trigger. Nobody can run away nearly well enough for this to even be a real strategy with 20 seconds left, people were trying to pull this with 60-70.

You guys are salty as hell for the wrong reasons lol. Phoenix had little next to nothing to do with Tokido winning. It was Wolverine vs Wolverine.
Justin needs to run a more balanced team against Phoenixes. Teams with Wolverine+She-Hulk or Wolverine+Tron are just too dead against a team that survives to see Phoenix with 5 bars. Those characters just can’t touch her.
You can make room for 1 on your team, but not 2 spots or 3.

I don’t think Wolverine is the problem, even when he’s running that early XF1 shit. Get hit by MvC2 Mags, your point character dies and your incoming character gets guardbroken. That’s Marvel, right?

Oh yeah, I’m not trying to deny how derp-tastic Phoenix is; but it all came down to Wolverine for both players.
Wolverine is the derp master, and shit like that is what’s making this game super lame.
I think what’s worst of all is Justin had to play that Wolverine team, because his She-hulk or other teams would have just gotten eaten alive. You have to fight Derp with Derp, unfortunately Tokido had more Derp with the Phoenix power up.
Honestly though, not taking sides, x-factor was the factor that made tokido won those last couple of match and justing winning the first couple. X-factor lvl 1 should be a speed boost, lvl 2 should be speed+attack boost and lvl 3 speed+attack more boosted (or just lasts longer.).

Not sure why everyone is talking about Phoenix. Every match came down to getting the first hit with Wolverine, and then popping Level 1 X-Factor and blowing up a couple of characters.
It just shows how powerful X-Factor is in this game. It’s something that needs some major adjustments. And if X-Factor got nerfed, all of the other characters would look a lot less retarded, including Wolverine and Phoenix.
Every character can kill Wolverine at match start if they choose to use their Level 1 X-Factor. Ya’ll need to get past that part real fast. You lose characters in MVC3 and your team needs to be built with that in mind. Justin’s wasn’t.
