I only watch Part 3 of the archive and Combofiend did the infinite successfully 2-3 times, only 1 time going into level 3. The times he dropped he got a lot of reps and a lot of meter so it was definitely worth going for it.
And lol @ Grand Finals. Phoenix isn’t the only character you guys should snap in from ruining your shit, that assist in armor is anti-rushdown on defense, preserves pressure, interrupts everything. As long as that assist is available, it’s like that team has all the momentum until Hsein-Ko is snapped in or killed.
My brother has the infinite down to a much higher consistency than anyone I’ve seen on stream so its very viable. He pretty much was pissing off one of my friends basically landing it with a fail rate of maybe 20 percent at most and my friend’s team all had big health characters on it. Especially when you can just drop it early and go into super on low health characters for an easy kill. Smaller characters with low health like X23 it seems to be easier to do on also. Bigger characters tend to be a bit harder with timing but you can easily build up 3 meters and level 3 kill them or DHC kill them. If they’re the last character than just XF finish them.
Doing it in a tournament match consistently is probably a different story but if my brother can do it that consistently in casuals someone is going to get their shit on point and do it consistently. When that happens Cap will be in the game for sure. When all it takes is one shield slash that eats through assists easily and acts as a near full screen block string to put you into a death combo it gets kinda scary.

I wouldn’t be surprised if megaman x was announced since every mvc3 dlc poll on capcom unity he is near the top also venom. I hope they make it in sometime.

…I swear gamers are such a sad bunch. I was passively watching the stream comments for a while and it was relatively tame, but then when OMG GURL played IT FUCKING EXPLODED! I’ve never seen chat scroll so fast in my life… sad.
