Honestly, if I owned that place, here’s how it’d be. If they fight, yeah, they’re gone, but only temporarily because it’s life, tempers flare, shit happens, and I wouldn’t want to throw people out if I don’t know what’s going on that I don’t know about that could affect that.
HOWEVER, they break my machines or anything else, they’re done for life. I don’t give a shit what caused it, arcades are nigh impossible to run in the US these days and they’re so hard to maintain, and these machines are not fucking cheap. You break a machine, GTFO for good.
A 3 week ban does seem like a slap on the wrist when there’s a broken machine involved. Maybe it’s not badly broken?
Or just make them pay for w/e they break. Take all their entry/prizes and put them directly towards paying off what they broke until it’s paid off.
It really didn’t look like they totally broke the machine, and it sounded like Chris said he could fix it. Looks like they just popped out a plastic screen, and not the actual display device.
