On hit u get a perfect confirm, on block totally safe and in close. Dunno if its that great, but its a safe way to teach them to protect their socks.
What do you guys think about vergil versus dante in the slot felicia xxx task?
Vergil gives a nice combo extension, sword loop dhcs, the otg assisted version of his combos, easy corner push for feli, good use of arrows, and just the power of having vergil on a team
Dante gives a jam session which I assume also extends combos (don’t know how exactly, but would be surprised if it didn’t), enhanced welcome setup potency, and imo the most compelling argument for dante: he’s one of the best rolling buckler abusers. He’s also got excellent synergy with task.

For the little time I divulged into Felicia, I found her to be extremely cheap when paired with Doom/Strider. I feel that team could be top tier if one’s Felicia were good enough.
Damn straight! ShadyK has run this, and several of our friends here on the forums play it. Powerful indeed! Felicia fits beautifully with a lot of classic shells. I want to play felicia mag sent, but can’t find a good dhc from feli to mags. Anyone know of a way to do so that’s not into a cornered shockwave? Lol
During Dancing Flash, there is a certain part of the hyper that she does a kick before the final 2 hits. That kick causes soft knockdown, so after the kick, DHC quickly into Tempest.

Any ideas on good transitions from felicia to morrigan? I’m back on my main mag morri doom, but would love to be able to alternate mag with felicia. Adding buckler to morridoom is just a coup, but I prefer not to start morrigan.
Best idea would be to let the full Dancing Flash connect and then DHC to Astral Vision for bullet hell.
Started running a Felicia, Iron Man, Strider team. I originally was playing Doom, but couldn’t get a hang of his movement (Relying on airdash to move everywhere get’s kind of taxing.) So I went with Iron Man. Uni beam maybe better then plasma beam because it’s easier to confirm with since it leaves them standing. Both Felicia and IronMan get full combos off of vajra and Iron man with rolling buckler is pretty fucking cheap, since his high low is really good. DHC into proton works after dancing flash anywhere on screen, so there’s that.
Anyway I’m really excited about this team. Felicia and Ironman are hella fun, and Strider…well he’s Strider.
Anyone ever played a Felicia/Spencer team? I’m toy-touching with the idea of Felicia/Spencer/Taskmaster, using Slant Shot add a tight low-combo/tick-throw 50/50 after Sand Splash in my combos instead of just going into Dancing Flash. Got the idea from RGX2 fishing for Hyper Grav assist resets. At the very least, Spencer DHC’s off DF better than Magus and gets more out of Felicia and arrows. Hell, Slant Shot might even work as a poor-man’s Vajra to catch people at that annoying far corner of the screen.
I kind of just threw Taskmaster on to the end as an after-thought though. There anyone that really might suit the duo better? Strange?
And which assist might our catgirl use in this case? (I’d run Spencer on point in some matchups.) I’m always a fan of alpha-countering in with Rolling Buckler, but I feel like extra Up-Grapple damage from the Sand Splash assist might be more worth it… unless I can find an anchor with an assist that adds to Spencer’s damage better than horizontal arrows. I mean, Mystic Ray does just that with the OTG, but comes with Shuma on anchor. Cold Star holds them in place for an extra Up-Grapple, but scales like mad and lacks reach. Even Hidden Missiles allows for 2 up-grapples in the corner, but seems hard for Felicia to protect. Spencer probably gets more out of a good, fast assist like arrows, right?
I still sorta use Felicia/Spencer/Vergil for the most part (thinking about switching Spencer for Dante for my main team), so you are good with kitty on point and DHC to Spencer since Felicia has no wall-bounce special moves, which gives Spencer an opportunity to get two more 80k up grapples after Bionic Maneuvers. Use Sand Splash assist for the best damage possible. But depending on which slot your characters are in, Buckler is good for both Tasky and Spencer.
And of course, Horizontal Arrows is a staple with Felicia because of the amount of blockstun and chip it does for Felicia’s pressure game. Sounds like a pretty solid team to me. :3

Does anybody use Rapid Slash with Felicia in the neutral?
I run Felicia/Dante/Vergil but I normally use it for Combo extension but never in the neutral. It dosent seem safe.
I see most Felicia’s run her with a Arrow/beam assist but I like the twins alot. Any use for Rapid Slash?
Most common way I use RS for neutral is with her Cat Crawl+assist call. Cross-ups galore, but the only downside is that sometimes the last hit of Rapid Slash won’t connect for that soft knockdown so you end up having your opponent slide towards you after getting hit. Guess you just gotta react to that and confirm into a combo lol
I was thinking about taking my old felicia team more serious ( Felicia/Doom beam/Strider). I played her a ton in the beginning of ultimate, but for w.e reason i stopped completely. I’m really considering making this my real secondary tournament team. The problems i had with this team was that lack of damage off assist hits.
Edit: Oh if you guys have any ideas on making her work with Mag/Sent let me know. I didnt really like her with drones, but i never really tried to play it
Felicia/Doom/Strider is definitely one of the best point Felicia teams, and it’s entirely reset based (then again you have TAC Doom combos lol), but you can definitely get good combo extensions with beam and Vajra. Vajra of course gets the hard knockdown into toy touch+ jump loops into a full combo.
Beam is good with rushdown +cat crawl/Delta Kick or ADK into air series combos. Not to mention that Dancing Flash > Sphere Flame DHC is really strong even off of a command grab. And Vajra is vajra so there is always that lol.
As for Magneto and Sent (considering the team order would be Felicia/Mags/Sent), good DHCs would be Tempest in the corner and Shockwave outside of the corner. Some people actually use Hyper Grav assist as opposed to disruptor mainly for combo extensions because Disruptor doesn’t give Felicia the combo extension that Plasma Beam has because of it’s nerfed hitstun. For Sent, Drones would be the best and unblockable set-ups with Rolling Buckler Slide help the robot a lot. I don’t really play Sent, but that’s what I got so far lol. Good to see you are looking to play Felicia a bit more, Ray Ray. :3
As far as horizontal assists go, I prefer slow-moving projectiles over beams in general. The former tend to keep the opponent grounded for better confirms, plus they give you enough time to set up cross-ups with Delta Kick easily. Although really, with the prevalence of high-damage TAC combos and infinites these days I suppose it’s easy enough to justify the other options. (I just wish Molecular Shield kept the opponent grounded. It’d totally give Doom a serious look for my team if that was the case.)
The one thing that irritates me the most about Felicia as a rushdown pixie is that she has pretty much nothing as far as instant overhead / fuzzy guard setups go (except against very tall characters), so lockdown assists like Sentinel Force lose some utility with her unless used along with Kitty Helper.
I would imagine that a duo like Magneto/Sentinel would be able to get some mileage out of Rolling Buckler assist, as it is one of the better low assists in the game imo (and an invincible CC).
Vajra is a very good assist for her since she has few solo options against characters who can hang in the air for long stretches of time and effectively cut off the space below them. I loathe fighting against the likes of Zero, Doom, or Trish without a good vertical assist for that reason.

Sentinel Force assist does the same damage as Aim Master, so you can get the same numbers as those combos or a little better if you sneak in more damage while the drones are hitting the opponent.
