Does about 515-520k. I’m pretty sure that s.-:f: can be added between the second j.:s: and :s:, and flight cancel can be used to extend the air portion as well.
Also on today’s agenda, calling Jam Session after the first j.:s: in the above combo gives enough time to active Astral Vision, although I haven’t managed to keep the combo going after activation. If nothing else, it is a completely safe AV activation, but i think the right assist or follow up will allow the combo to keep going.
Just learned if you slow down an MMHS air combo to the point where that shit just barely still combos, you’ll land close enough for Katana-rama’s obnoxiously large hit box to OTG, and since it’s a ground bounce you can dash in for combo extension.
Also IAD j:h:,-:d:-:d::h:-:f::h:, j:m:-j:h:-j:s:, land, j:l:-j:m:-j:h:-j:s:, :s: j:m:-:j:m:-j:h: xx :dp: xx :qcf::atk::atk: actually works, and does slightly more damage and a nice chunk more meter than using -:f: between the first jump cancel combo and :s:. (Edit: God damn, I fucking forgot i actually landed this combo and mentioned it before already. Silly me)
That said, I’m now replacing my ground BNB with IAD j.:h:,:d::h:-:f::h: from now on. You get much better damage doing that and going for the flight extended air combos.
Also revising my opinion about how practical Faultydefense’s Soul Fist/Fly loops are. Especially mid screen variants with Astral Vision.
Easiest 500k+ mid-screen BNB aka something everyone should learn and start using now if they already aren’t:
During Astral vision: Tri-dash j.:h:, c.:h:-:f::h: xx :qcf::h: xx :qcb:s:, j.:h:-j,:s:, :s: j.-j.-j:h: xx :dp: 510k damage, 73% meter built
And continues from there into either a second meter spent on Finishing Shower for about 650k, or into a :qcb::s:, j.-j.-j.:h: xx :dp: :h: for 556k, and 105% meter.
You can do 600k+ for one bar with combos in the second post in this thread. Take any of Faultydefense’s corner combos, and do them during Adtral Vision. They work midscreen and do more damage. They are difficult though, the one I just threw up is stupid easy. You can loop [c.:h: :f::h: xx :qcf::h: xx :qcb::s: j.:h:-j.:s:] at least twice and still link into a standing :s: as well if you don’t want to do quite as many flight cancels.
Also: The only reason 500k for one bar is even bad damage in the first place, is the ridiculous overabundance of ways to ToD in vanilla. There really isn’t much of a difference between a 500k combo and a 750k combo against a character with 1 million health realistically speaking, they both take two touches to kill.
I’m just getting really, really sick of seeing Morrigan combos, that on the rare occasion I see her at all, include standing :h: (sometimes multiple times) outside of X-factor.
do you have to air dash after the flight, cus forward heavy to fireball to stationary fly heavy, special doesnt seem like it would work without moving forward…
No, but there’s some odd timing to it I guess. I can crank that part out 100% of the time, but other people have issues with it. I did forget to mention that in Astral Vision, 2H-6H does not work on Zero or Sentinel. If the jH hits the jS always should though.

also, sent is gay, all of my characters normal bnbs dont work on him, which means I have to go back to doing stupid basic crap and burning way too much bar on him.
So I dunno if it’s just me but a lot of Morrigan’s flight BnBs and double finishing shower combos flat out don’t work anymore…what the hell man? Am I missing something?
Can someone with fingers that obey them do this first part of the combo?

I was able to do the first part 1 out of 3, but then my fingers start to spaz out after several more tries. And it feels like the end of this combo isn’t fully optimized. I need to sleep on this.
After some practice, I’m able to get this down pretty consistently. Trying different corner enders like jH xx M dp xx fly, j.H xx H soul fist xx finishing shower, which works for simpler combos, but not this one. Specifically, they flip out between the fireball and finishing shower-- her lv3 super will connect just fine.
