Prior to the tourney at GC (the 19th) , there will be a small tournament held on the 11th at Rally point games in Marysville WA, the cuts will be 50% to 1st, 20% 2nd, 10% 3rd, or we will just run casuals at the venue if we don’t have enough to players to make that happen. Bring your own stick, etc. We should have 2 copies of MvC3 on site, if you bring a copy that’d be appreciated, but I don’t think we’ll need more then 2 tv’s going at once. 15 dollar entry if it does happen. If not, some casuals or a few money matches might be nice. Roughly from 5PM to 9PM

Meh, I can get it ran. I can call 'em tomorrow if you like. Just for casuals have a box chilling on the side. It all depends on if you can get more people to come. I can run a tourney for that as well, same set up. If we get like 6-10 people I can get a SSF4 tourney on as well. But if not probably just casuals or MM. If you MM send a little to the house as courtesy, and we can set up this kind of thing monthly. If they make some cash off it, I can get a monthly Marysville tourney at the spot. The owner is really interested in having some more competitive gaming there. So, tell your friends ASAP and if you can get at least 6 to confirm attendance for SSF4, we can run it.
LOL the Seattle scene is 99% not going to Marysville. I feel like myself and Ryan would be the only real people who would go. People don’t like to travel far and when the do they like to have the ability to drink as well.
There’s a handful of people in the Everett area so I’ll see what’s up. I feel that outside of me or Ryan (Zafo99) there isn’t many more likely.
I’ll gladly give like 25% to the house if I can get people to MM.

It’s a friendly joint, and as for drinking, I don’t see that happening there any time soon, so ya got me there. Yeah, if you could get a few people that’d be pretty awesome. And as for the 25%, don’t worry so much. Try like 5 or 10 dollars, just to pitch in. =D It’s a rad joint.

I am from Snohomish and have been looking for an offline community around my area… don’t really feel like Seattle is optimal but this seems pretty cool.
So whats the deal with the tournament is it $20 to get in + $15 for the entry fee? And does it start at 5? Only problem is I coach a baseball team and we have practice until 5:30 or so.

There will be a setup for casuals, but the tourney itself should begin at around 6, I can postpone it for whatever reason. I’ll call the owner tomorrow and work out some stuff for SSF4 as well. They’re just analog TV’s, no crazy stupid stuff like they use for COD and whatnot. I like the tube tv for fighting games, and monitors for FPS stuff. But for sure all, invite your friends!
