What is the most damage I can get out of Trish with jam session assist ? (Using 1 bar, no xfactor)
Any more experienced guys here know why the last J.H of this combo keeps whiffing for me? I can only seem to land it a small percentage of the time. Is it height or character specific?
You have to be under the opponent when you do the a.M a.M double jump a.M a.H. So just let the character go first and delay your super jump a bit. Once you super jump you should be under the opponent. You have to be directly horizontal to the character when you do the last a.H. So in short, it’s height specific. XD
Why are Trishs combos so awkward? Thanks, ill try this out now.
Hit stuns not very nice to her and her sword normals seem to mostly push her opponent away which is weird and just makes her combos more difficult. Heres a nice combo with dorms assist I told you earlier about :
a.H c.M s.H c.H S – a.M Stiletto Kick, a.Hopscotch a.M a.H – s.H (call Dorm black hole) c.H Round Trip S – S air dash S – instant air Maximum Voltage (does 504k meterless and I could only get 610k from her super because the time to do her super at the end is kinda tight)
Ah, didn’t think you would be able to loop the round trip mid combo. Does this work well mid screen?
The team I’m running now can loop Round Trip twice with meter (Unibeam and Missiles) but it’s sooooooo awkward midscreen. I feel like even if I hit them back into the scythe with the first S, they’re way too far away for the one after that. It might require some adjusting with air-dashes as necessary.
It ONLY works midscreen, Dorm’s assist doesn’t reach close enough to Trish in the corner , but I have Jean’s overdrive so that can substitute for Dorm in the corner or something similar like Tatsu.
Does the rapid slash extension (a few videos back) work full screen, or do you have to carry them to the corner first?
After comboing into the round harvest super what should I be doing? I know there are a variety of kick/low voltage into HV super combos but I can’t seem to find one that reliably works. The tendency for the Round Harvest super to move left and right makes it even more difficult to figure out what I should be doing.
If I recall correctly you can get the vergil rapid slash to connect mid-screen but you don’t really have enough time to do anything off the assist. As long as you are near the corner or in the corner before you call the assist it should work fine.
Yeah that Round Harvest glitch sucks I usually just do a delayed super jump into Maximum Voltage to save myself the trouble.
You play Trish Dorm and phoenix? How do you get the needed meter?
I do and and I use dorm’s black hole as an extension to Trish’s combos and that usually gets me around a bar. But depending on the match up I’ll just zone or rush down. I never find phoenix as an obligation since I’m comfortable with falling back on my trish/dorm. Dorm and trish are interchangeable in my team according to match up. So sometimes I just play dorm’s neutral game. Dorm has an infinite, not the most reliably but it works same thing can be said about Trish’s. I don’t know why but I prefer having phoenix in the back as opposed to someone like doom. Reasonably Trish dorm doom is better than Trish dorm phoenix but I just prefer the latter lol…
I bolded everything as a kind of TL;DR thing 
I found a Trish super jump conversion randomly today. I was in the lab with Trish and I tried to use her easy a.H Stiletto Kick jump conversion at super jump height, but as you know Trish doesn’t have very much hit stun so you have to do that chain fairly low to the ground. So I tried doing a hopscotch to get some hit stun, but another problem is that if you do a hopscotch after that chain the opponent isn’t really lined up well to Trish and Trish’s normals can’t reach below her where the opponents at. So then I tried a down forward airdash and a.L to see if it would connect to the hopscotch and it did. So I then tried to connect a s.H and to my surprise it connected. At first it felt like a tight link but I’m doing it consistently now. So far I’ve tried it on Dante/X23/Rocket Raccoon and it worked on all of them. I really think this is viable. I’ll try to make a video about it soon. Here it is:
**-super jump- a.H Stiletto Kick air.Hopscotch -airdash down forwards- a.L a.H -land- s.H c.H S -super jump- a.H Stiletto Kick air.Low Voltage M Maximum Voltage

A few specifics I forgot to mention.
-You have to be as close as possible when you do the a.H Stiletto Kick starter. So when you super jump up for a combo try to super jump up forward closer to the opponent.
-You have to be a super jump height for this to work, I don’t think it works any lower. - You also have to do the the air.Hopscotch a little delayed after Stiletto Kick but still quickly.
If anybody finds anything better or improves this combo, please post it! 
-EDIT- Found a few more variations using the a.H + Stiletto Kick chain, Hope I can get to do the video, I’m recording right now! Found a better variation of the combo above thanks to Greenace, found another one without hopscotch too. What I really wanted to find was a sj conversion that built a bar, but sigh Trish isn’t the best meter builder. Whatever she gets much off assists anyways, including damage and meter build. Just another weapon to add to her already very good arsenal.
I fixed that combo for you redflame, ill post up the notations when I can get on a computer.
So I made a video about the stuff I posted above and more and @ Green Ace maybe the combo @ 1:42-2:02 is what you found? It added a good 20k to my previous combo. I can’t believe I didn’t think to add her a.S for more damage haha.
