MvC3: Mama said knock you out! Trish Combo Thread

are you looking for both solo or with assist? Because I usually don’t use XF1 Trish unless it’s to do her basic BnB>super>xfc>Super for a character I really want dead. Otherwise:

Xf2 = hopscotch infinite. (magic series ending with cr.H>qcb+L) The timing is much stricter than in xf3 but it’s possible.
XF3 = Hopscotch infinite. Though usually in xf3 I do hit confirm>S>j.H>dive kick>S x3>j.L x2>j.M>j.H>qcf+L>Max voltage super.

I have to go back into training to remember other things and actually see better ways to go into hopscotch infinite.

Hmm, I wasnt aware of those. Thanks for the heads up I’ll mess with them today after work. Also, yes I was referring to with assist, but it doesn’t really matter if she can hit 1.1 mil by herself.

Update: so I cant really do the inf well in xf2 so i just settled with lmhs, ^, h, d+h, v, S ^h D+h xx qcb l, h, v, h,s, ^ mmhs, v, super + assist for 1.1 mil

Trish has a lot of really dumb BS xf3 combos both midscreen and corner. I may do a combo video of some sort for this.

I didn’t find too much with solo XF2 combos besides:

mid screen: magic series>S>j.M>j.H>d+H>S>j.H>d+h>S>j.L>j.M>j.H>qcf+L>super. It does right under 1 mil. Also for the j.L you have to wait a moment after the super jump so that it connects.

There’s a bunch of other experimenting I did but I don’t remember it off the top of my head and i’m kinda tired at the moment to even remember most of the stuff I found.

I wouldn’t mind using that. I wanted to play Trish Nemmy (cept with Nemmy in the front.) but that would allow me to have Trish in the front and still be dumb with a decent high health character.

Problem is Nemmy is second and he’s free to incoming mixups. But i’m willing to try anything out with Trish.

Other than that, Round Harvest has a fairly lengthy startup and does not OTG, so you’re probably not going to be able to do anything. </div>

Trish cant instant overhead into combo, j.L I use primarily as a can opener to continuous crouch guard<br><br><br>The more I play Trish the more I realize she kinds suck on her own.<br>

Are there any good combos that Trish can do with Weasel Shot? The best I could figure out so far was:

Dive kick, s.L M H + A2 (Weasel Shot) x Low Voltage L, wave dash forward, s.H c.H S, j.M x Dive kick x Hopscotch, j.M H, land, s.H S, j.M M double jump j.M H S(follow up with next assist extension or TK super)

Trish can combo instant overhead L into divekick in lvl2 or 3 X factor. She’s an underrated anchor imo. In lvl 3 xf, off a clean hit she does about 1.05 million before super with the jump loop.

With weasel shot, you can do the RDK special. So standard combo into S, j. M x divekick x hopscotch, j. M, j. H, land, s. H, call Dante, c. H, round trip, j. S, j. S, otg super. The timing and spacing takes a little getting used to and to be perfectly honest, the extra damage isn’t that much so i almost never go for it but it’s an extra tool to have.

Excuse me for my scrubby question but how do you instant overhead with Trish?

There’s a mid screen variation too. Just gotta find someone to help me record it since idk if i’ve done it in a recorded match and I don’t want you guys digging through twitch archives.

As an aside, I’m dropping her continuation off of Doom missles. Anyone know why characters sometimes pop out? Don’t know if I’m doing the super too fast or too slow. Combo: Bnb, Wesker OTG, Round Harvest extension, Call Doom, TK Super, Doom Missles hit, Round Harvest–sometimes I get it and other times the character is too high for the Round Harvest to hit and they flip out.

by round harvest do you mean round trip (ie. her qcb + C) move? if so, the timing on the extension after tk super, doom missiles is actually kind of tricky. you have to delay the round trip so that the character falls on it. if you do it too early, they’ll be too high. i never go for that combo in tournament just because of how strict the timing is

Yeah, I meant Round Trip. I always mix those two up because Vergil’s has the same name. Thanks, Goa. Dammit, haha. I’ll have to focus more on unblockables. That damage is so good w/ missles extension.

So I need help with the Trish infinite. I can start it from any direction anywhere (which is rare, I can’t do Doom’s to save my life) but they seem to fall out after 3-4 reps. I don’t think it’s me dropping the timing or getting nervous, just after the Hopscotch in the 4th rep, j.M doesn’t connect for some reason. Has anyone had trouble with this before and figured it out?

I’ve never had THAT much difficulty landing the Round Trip Relaunch from Doom Missiles. I don’t feel the timing is that strict. Then again I haven’t tested it on all body types.
