MvC3: Mama said knock you out! Trish Combo Thread

Anyone have any Trish/Task or Trish/Dorm combos they’d be willing to share?

Are the combos in the OP still the standard bnbs?

Sorry no one’s replied back. The Trish forums are usually dead so I don’t check here that often, but her standard BNBs are probably the hopscotch relaunch or the basic divekick relaunch. I think everyone does there own thing though. Here are the two combos I’m talking about:

c.L c.M c.H S -super jump- a.L divekick a.Hopscotch -air dash forward- a.M a.H -land- s.H S -super jump- a.M a.M -double jump- a.M a.H a.S -land- -neutral jump- a.Maximum Voltage

^ That combo does 410k meterless and 550k with the a.Maximum Voltage super

Here’s some tricks to beef up Trish’s damage:

  • Instead of doing c.H on a ground chain do s.H
  • If the character your doing the combo on has a big enough hitbox do a.M instead of a.L before the divekick.
  • If you don’t have too many hits on the ground chain, meaning you didn’t hit c.L c.L c.L c.L c.M s.H S, do a c.H after you landed from the a.H and done s.H. If your going to do this you will HAVE TO remove a.H from the last air series. Replace a.H from the last air series with a.M and you should be good.

At this point you should be doing 425k meterless with the changes above.

  • Once you land from the last air series, do an instant air jump/tiger knee and do a.Hopscotch then quickly cancel the a.Hopscotch into a.Maximum Voltage.
  • And mash all the button strengths, not the exchange button/S

This should make that measly 550k into 662k.

Don’t do the divekick relaunch cause it’s crap. Unless you want something a little easier than all of that^.

Here’s the best version of the divekick relaunch:

c.L c.M s.H S -super jump- a.H divekick -land- s.L s.M s.H S -super jump- a.L a.L a.M a.M -double jump- a.M a.M a.H divekick a.Low Voltage L a.Maximum Voltage

does 427k meterless and 645k with meter.

  • you will need to swap the a.H for a.M in some occasions because her air heavy pushes them to the ground and a character with a big hurtsphere will probably drop out because of this. air medium keeps them leveled and pushes them higher up, this will change the damage to 409k meterless.

  • this combo ends with air maximum voltage at super jump height this sucks because if your not in the corner the character will drop down to the floor missing some of the hits from max voltage. So the amount of damage you get with meter varies.

  • ending a combo in the air with trish sucks because it puts you in a neutral position with the opponent. This is true for both meterless and with meter versions of the combo. The recovery on a.Low Voltage L and a.Maximum voltage making trish fall after it’s use with no air actions(including blocking) are the culprits for this forced neutral position.

What are her best options after Haggar’s Giant Press xx Round Harvest DHC and best combos with meter and 1 assist? (Options other than missiles?)

Hey guys I’m new to Trish and having some trouble with her bnb

My j.m after hopscotch keeps whiffing. I don’t know if its because that doesn’t work in ultimate or if its a spacing issue

I assume you are talking about the air dash j.M after the hopscotch. It’s just strict on timing but it does work. Personally I use j.L after the hopscotch because it’s quicker/more reliable and the damage isn’t too different.
