Good news on the movie, Spidey will be the wise cracking hero he is, it won’t be as dark as the trailer seems to make it out to be. Some more footage was shown at Comic Con. Some funny shit apparently, one of the scenes shown was Spidey playing possum with a crook and toying with him with his webbing. It seems the panel really cares about this movie too.

holy shit, web zip is FAST now, especially in x-factor. i think i saw later on in the stream (not archived on that channel) that spidey was doing multiple web zips/canceling web zips into itself in the air.

LOL, that sounds ridiculous. I was actually going to try a Swingin’ team with Spidey/Taskmaster/Spencer, although that team took a bit of a hit since they’re taking the DHC glitch out… Although it’d probably work almost exactly the same as Combofiend’s team, with the exception of the point character.
ha so I was right about web zip off a quick glimpse :wgrin: cant wait to come up with new uses for it. hopefully the guy that saw the web ball clips was correct as well.
Also, we need to see if Web Throw still remains unscaled mid-combo… and that we can still super jump Maximum Spider after web throw, or if we can possibly just perform it grounded.
If Spiderman is indeed faster, I may continue utilizing him in my teams! If his combos have been nerfed, I may be sad!
If Web throw starts being scaled, oh well!

I’m making a beginners tutorial. I have quite a few vids setup but does anyone have any suggestions. I may miss something so I want to cover all grounds.
I’m interested in the less common stuff, specially because we have nearly no high level footage of Spidey. Max damage combos and new tricks are cool and all, but are less important than straight out gameplan, imo. I’m instered to hear a lot of stuff like what’s your air to air approach, do you actually hit confirm in the air? How do you employ web ball? Spider Sting as an AA ever? Ever use web swing to approach or the other (probably better) tools he has?
Basically I want you to teach me the character lol
So who else is fucking terrified over potential UMVC3 changes to Spidey? I have a sneaky feeling web throw might get gimped. A lot of mid tier characters are getting dubious nerfs.
