Yeah, it seems as if Amazon really dropped the ball on this one.
They’re my absolute favorite place to shop, but it’s kind of embarrassing that they’re messing this up when every other online retailer seems to have ample stock. Ended up canceling and ordering someplace else so I don’t have to wait 3 weeks.
I’m sure the 3 weeks would have been worth the wait though!

MAJOR PROPS to Buktooth and anyone else involved. THE GUIDE IS FUCKING AMAZING. Sooooooo much useful info that it’s damn near overwhelming.
Yes alot of the info will probably make it to the internet eventually, but there’s a ton of stuff in it that I’ve yet to see and it’s a huge convenience having it in a guide/magazine form instead of me having to get up and check my computer (or waste ink printing frame data, movelists, combos, etc). Plus it’s a great quick reference for characters that I haven’t been following on the forums. The guide is so good I’m having a hard time debating whether I want to play or read. 
Big thanks for the effort guys. It’s absolutely worth it. It’s most definitely one of the best fighting game guides I ever read. In fact it’s probably the best.

Very well written and pretty damn thorough. I only wish it had more videos, and just not the basics.
Just for the record, it’s better than the legendary alpha 2 book. Yes, it’s that good.

This book is so thick, it was well worth the cover price. Picked it up and was blown away at the amount of pages dedicated to each character.

Yeah, Amazon notified me of the delay, so I just cancelled and went to my local Gamestop and bought a copy. 8 more bucks to have it now isn’t too big a deal. Great guide btw. Had no idea it covered Shuma and Jill too, good to get a little preview of them.

Haven’t seen the book myself yet, but does anyone know if it has some of the artwork featured in the special edition MVC 3 set (mainly the bengus, shinkiro and kinu pieces?)
