Speaking of easy to do color swaps, swapping the colors for some attack effects would be cool as hell too. I mean, if you say, picked blue head Dormammu and his chaotic flame/destruction liberations/stalking flare were blue as well.

anyone else think that characters that can OTG in their combos using their own moves (dante, chris, x-23 etc.) have higher combo damage potential and are more likely to be top tier
Tiers won’t be based on a character but teams and overall damage with assist will probably make much longer combos.

Related to Marvel and PSN but not MvC3 itself: Spidey and Wolvie tables of Marvel Pinball are supposedly going to be downloadable from PSN today for free as a demo. (See article.) All four tables (Invincible Iron Man and Blade being the other two) were available in trial mode on XBL already, but the news article doesn’t make it sound like these are time-/score-limited trials of the two tables. Just sharing for the interested. Zen Studios makes a fine pinball engine.
My guess is that it has something do due with the Marvel side of things. Since it’s pretty obvious ever color of their other costumes had some comic inspiration, it’s likely they had to approve the other colors for the primary costumes first. Instead of going through that again for each new costume, they said fuck it no one gets color swaps on the new costumes.
Well justin actually used it in a tourney while rahsaan used sent, Im not saying its right, but its kinda expected since justin used it on the bigger stage.

I destroyed a Ryu earlier with punish Proton Cannon, Chaotic Flame, XFC, Chaotic Flame. It felt so good, too. Not just the part where I took him out, but the part where I was able to analyze the situation, weigh my options, and actually execute what I wanted to. At high level play, this is like breathing for the pros. But for me? It’s definitely progress.
And I’m totally loving C. Viper-g, Dorm-b, and Iron Man-a. Just need my Iron Patriot costume. glare at PSN

@AceKillah: Since you may not be the only to wonder, and since I probably didn’t explain it that well, I’ll go ahead and clarify even if you got it figured out. I had Iron Man on point at the time. Facing down some Ryu, he exposed himself with an attack that whiffed, so I busted out Proton Cannon to punish him. Then I tagged out for Dormammu’s Chaotic Flame. Knowing that Viper’s Hyper Combo options wouldn’t really work for me at full screen, I couldn’t continue the Team Hyper Combo. But I didn’t want to give the Ryu a chance to recover, so I X-Factor Canceled to interrupt Dorm’s Chaotic Flame and immediately followed up with a second Chaotic Flame. Hope that clears it up.
So, I was messing around with characters for my Spidey/Taskmaster team and I happened across Doom. His theme was making me rave more than practice, that shit is awesome. I’ve settled on a 3rd character that I don’t even know how to fucking use, on his theme music alone LOL. DEM DRUMS.
To the above, Dormammu’s Chaotic Flame -> XFC -> Chaotic Flame is godlike for killing/punishing bitches.
oh ok well then good stuff. but just to let you know you can throw in a dark hole before the second chaotic flame for some added damage if you get the positioning correctly
