I feel pretty good after a hour in training mode, took my Doom/Chris/Zero team in,learned the doom loop but have a ways to go before mastering it without dropping it.If I can get Zero’s loop down I will feel even better and Chris is pretty good character.
I’m just waiting for someone to come in here and say “WTF YOU NUBS WANT COSTUMES LOL?! FUCK CAPCOM UNTIL SPECTATOR MODE GETS PUT IN”.
While I would agree with the sentiment, I find it funny that there are people that believe that Costumes are actually affecting whether or not Spectator Mode will be put in (it won’t).

I seem to remember hearing that PSN didn’t update until the afternoon.
All I want to know is whether or not the new costumes have alternate colors, but I have a strong feeling they do not.
Hell, it’s probably possible that they don’t show up for anyone but you.
Atleast if they’re on disc, though, there’s a chance us PS3 owners might get to see people using costumes even if we don’t purchase them ourselves (atleast the first pack of costumes).
just got done with ironmans missions awaiting iron patriot. most likely there alt colors than the ones we saw. i just want to see it already! they dont update till the aftenoon? night!
Apparently PSN doesn’t typically update until evening. XBLM usually updates around 5am EST, so, fairly soon.

seriously? so what happens if both players pick the same alt, someone doesnt get to use it?
Probably. I’m sure their reasoning was, “you have 3 characters, surely your opponent won’t pick the same three characters so you’ll get to use atleast 1 or 2 premium costumes.” That, and they wouldn’t have been able to put in the time and effort to make meaningful re-colors to match the quality of the other alternate colors in the game.
I just really hope it isn’t 6 months until we see more costumes/characters. Also, I hope it doesn’t take long to do little gameplay patches, such as fixing up that Spencer glitch (and some of the other glitches people have found, like Arthur’s armor breaking while he gets aerial exchange combo’d).
Probably whoever selected it second will have the outfit changed to the default color. I bought them if anyone else who has them wants to try it out.
There are 30 titles unlockable for defeating a CPU with the title in Shadow Mode, I’m guessing these will be coming out the first of every month and will end Dec 1, 2011. If they indeed make a new costume for every character they could come out every other month. This would also finish up Dec 1, 2011.

Apr 1 - 3 Shadow CPU
May 1 - 3 Shadow CPU + 6 Costumes
June 1 - 3 Shadow CPU
July 1 - 3 Shadow CPU + 6 Costumes

This could be the case or not at all! Doubting DLC characters will have alternate costumes, the character’s themselves are the download.
And we all know that the only other DLC characters coming out for this game are Frank West and Dr. Octopus

sigh. was so looking forward to different colors of iron patriot. white/gold, black/white/, pink/white…oh well. save my 5 dollars and buy the next batch of dlc characters.
