I played some online, ranked match, and the one guy I played against, we had a rematch option. So we played like 4 games in a row before I had to run. Played again later and noticed I didn’t have the option when fighting people again, strange.
Also finally watched the fight with Justin Wong winning Winter Brawl. I hate that stupid Tron assist, it seems invulnerable unless you punish with a super.
You sure it was Ranked? Player match has a rematch function, Ranked doesn’t (for obvious reasons…).
Started on Viper-g, Dorm-b, Iron-a tonight. All the right pieces seem to be in place, but I’ve got a lot to learn about all of these characters to use 'em well… particularly in team mechanics. Loving Viper on point, though.
Gonna love having Iron Patriot even more.

Yeah…I never had the inkling of getting a SINGLE costume pack in SF4 (except the free Brawler pack…though Chef Fuerte is pretty awesome), though Iron Patriot…so much damn win…

I know, as I already had that on my tab. I just don’t feel like refreshing it every 15 minutes, hence why I asked people to post when it is up. But I really don’t want to wait until 5 AM for this…ugh…
I’ve never ever bothered with costumes or alt colours for some reason. I always pick the default colours to characters because I know that’s what the character is meant to look like. Strange, since other people love to have things like costume and pallete swaps.
Ah must of been then. Never done anything outside of ranked, and probably selected the wrong one being tired and all.
I’m usually like that, but some palette swaps are preferable. For instance, Iron Man’s Silver Centurion (or in a couple of hours, Iron Patriot), Zero’s Bass colors, Storm White Outfit, Dormammu Blue Flame, Chun Black Alt, Brunette Viper, and so on. The palette swaps in this game for the most part are actually really good and fit well with the character unlike other games in the past where they were just…there so mirror matches could be performed. I miss Pink Thor though.
New costumes also going down the right track. I mean the only meh one is probably Thor’s because it’s too similar to his current costume. You could say the same of Ryu but…man, SF1 Ryu? Shit was over 20 years in the making. Then you got Current Steve with the old school Shield, freaking Sparda, STARS Chris which is always good, and of course the Iron Patriot. For the first time…ever, I look forward to what they have planned next. I mean, Alpha Chun done right could be on the way…Gloria Trish, STARS Wesker to go with STARS Jill (and probably start a whole new round of Jill Bitching…), uh, literal Lilith model in for Morrigan, Megaman Zero…there are a lot of good things that could come out of this for once.
There a few that are hard to think of a costume for.
Morrigan: I don’t think they’ll do Lilith. Her size is too different and it’d be weird hearing Morrigan’s voice come from her. I think overall they’ll stay away with complete character swaps. Sparda over Dante is an exception. Note that it is not Vergil.
Amaterasu: No idea what they could do that isn’t a palette swap, but I haven’t played Okami yet either.
Doctor Doom: Has he EVER looked different?
Shuma-Gorath: Yeah. Barely in enough comics to have a design for these games. And really, with its animations and whatnot there are no significant changes you can apply. Maybe they’ll release one without that gaudy texture all over it that looks smooth instead.
MODOK: They already got MODAM. Maybe one of the Avenger themed MODOKs?
Deadpool: He’s kind of always looked the same, just changes up his colors. All of which they’ve accomplished through his alternate colors.
Hsien-Ko: Again, never looked different, though they could switch her with Mei Ling, but that might be a bit much, and almost seemingly require a new voice and quotes.
Felicia: Same as Hsien-Ko and Morrigan. Maybe they’ll just make some unique alts for the DarkStalkers characters, like the the Street Fighter IV premium costumes.
Arthur: Can’t think of anything but Maximo, who is a different character and much taller than Arthur, probably wouldn’t work unless it was like chibi Maximo, or Arthur in Maximo clothes.
Hulk: I don’t know, longer hair?
Everyone else I can think of something.
Hmm…well we could always try and figure some of those out ourselves.
Also, they could troll everyone with Wolvie Origins Deadpool…but I think Capcom would be set on fire.

World War Hulk, and many more.
It’s not out of the question to craft new duds for some characters. Sky’s the limit, but for now it will be a lot of fan favorites and cool references.
Hulk with his gladiator armor from Planet Hulk would look boss.
As for Morg, I’d like to see her in that white, unbuttoned shirt she’s shown wearing outside of fights.
Planet/World War Hulk Armor would be BADASS.
