MvC3: Felicia thread V2: For All your Broadway Catgirl Nun needs!

Wow. On more than one occassion I’ve managed to completely destroy a Sentinel who had level 3 XF with just Felicia, not even X-Factored, just with Kitty Helper. (BTW I believe her name is Piko.)

The value of Felicia as an anti-Sentinel ion cannon can’t be understated, but still you have to be careful because if Sent launches her just ONCE you can kiss her goodbye.

Like I said, KITTY HELPER RAPES. Especially against Sent. ALL HAIL THE QUEEN OF CATS.

it’s all a matter of getting pico into the proper position. you need to keep sentinel locked down in a corner with a blockstring until pico gets in to commence the anal fisting.

OTG into snapback is awesome.

If you see any red life on your opponent’s assists near the end of your combo (especially their second assist), do it. Every. Single. Time.
Well… unless you can kill the active character with a normal super.

Also kitty helper before they come in for fun stuff.

OTG into Snapback is a great anti-Phoenix tool, she’ll never get her 5 bars if you froce her out and kill her within the first 10 seconds of the match.

Herp derp I’m stupid, whenever I tried I never had time to get Toy Touch in but I forgot you can cancel the dash with the attack though it still is quite tricky to time (for me at least).

BTW what does she say when doing EX Charge? Kinda sounds like “hucky~” (English) or “huggy~” (Japanese) shrug

You don’t even need to kill her. You can aim to punish her inevitable tag-out instead, and then finish the combo by snapping her back in again :rofl:

Also, Cat Spike :l: and :m: as well as Delta Kick :l: and :m: give frame advantage on block. Good stuff to know.

Anyone figured out any combos incorporating her EX Charge (down down C)? I was messing around tonight trying to come up with some loops that could charge meter a bit but I’m not sure it would be worth it when you could just do damage and gain the meter that way. Is this a silly idea or what?

That explains why I keep whiffing Hellcat through them, hmm~ hit confirm with a couple c.L after and Hellcat if blocked or another Delta Kick if pushed away perhaps? :3

If something has enough hit stun and you’re fast enough you can probably cancel into EX Charge then follow-up but doubt you’d get much or any meter out of it :frowning:

Yeah my experimentation has not yielded much. I was messing around with :snka:,:snkc: xx EX Charge -> :snka:,:snkc: xx CatSpike and trying to make a loop but it wasn’t working out. You have to actually hold the EX Charge for a certain number of frames to even get meter, and just sticking it in the middle of the combo doesn’t really do much of anything that can’t be accomplished with another combo. I’m wondering if it could be used somehow while the opponent is the in the air but I will have to play around some more.

One of the characters I used often later on in MvC2, mainly because of the rolling which can take you across the screen fast, the slide kick which is mostly safe and being able to combo off it. Overhead attack and uppercut is a nice bonus.

Three things I don’t like, sand splash is now a charge move, no longer able to dive kick from the air, sand splash super is gone that is able to cover the entire floor and hit those who are both in front and behind you.

What are your thoughts?

EX Charge facts:

  • It goes under certain projectiles. Its super good against MODOK and other runaway teams. He likes to keep you out and turtle, just build mad meter and bring out the “little homie”.

  • :d:+(assist), :d:+:h: works to charge and have assist cover you at the same time.

  • It recovers sooo fast you can block if you’re charging and you see somethin commin your way.

I gotta play with it and see which projectiles it goes uner…could prove to be a useful tactic as far as using it to go under certain projectiles (AND build meter), not have to take chip and no have to be bound to the air.

I’m kinda hopeful about EX Charge. I’ve got the crazy notion in my head that I could cancel certain moves with it to extend combos, but I’ve yet to pop into training mode to try it out.

you can combo into Sentinals HSF after that upward kick in her super.

in a short combo into the dhc you can do a full launcher combo but after a long combo you can only get things like launcher into J. b super.

I think this could be really good if we can optimize this.

Okay, so you know how Hulk has an infinite on assists? CrispyTacoz and I found Felicia has one too with her Rolling Uppercut. The only time it happened was on MODOK, so we aren’t sure if it works on all characters. Basically just do :qcf: :h: + :h: repeatedly so the Rolling Uppercut comes out ASAP.

(Shout-out to Crispy for kicking my ass 11 times on CatBox Live and still netting me all unlockable characters and 5 achievements.)
