Just a random piece of info: Watch your RB low kicks against a meteor smash-happy Super Skrull. No matter what direction you’re rolling in, as soon as you hit M for the low kick she’ll slide right into meteor smash’s path and get hit by it.

Just got the game today. Spent about an hour practicing all her OTG madness, this character is dirty.

Probably came to people’s minds already but 623M and also rolling buckler(M) are great for setting up command throw resets in combos. She seems to have a lot going for her without much need for a synergistic team.

After 5 hours of playing this, I got a pretty solid Felicia. I love the heck outta her crazy combos. I still gotta get the hang on jump cancelling :df::m: into Rolling Buckler whiff slide PHM, but everything else is solid. Props to Sprint’s combo list. Helped me A LOT. :3

Played - and won - the launch tournament last night. Made people afraid of cats.

Congrats! You probably played against a lot of Sentinels, right? Any tips against him?

how do i get on zone characters… they are a real pain on to get into without an assist for me when i use my feline

Cat Run is your friend, learn how to use it.

The whole thing was kinda a flash, and I was working more on instinct than anything else. I’ll try to figure out what I was doing in retrospect.

As I expected, the tourney had no unlocked characters, so I didn’t have to deal with any Sentinels (which also meant I didn’t get to play as Hsien Ko.) My opposition was pretty diverse, although there were a lot of Deadpools, Dantes, and Zeros - but they also had a lot of Ryus, Chun Lis, C.Vipers, Wolverines, Iron Men and Captain Americas. I can’t imagine I’m surprised that a lot of folks stuck to familiar faces in an unfamiliar game. I certainly never saw a single person play as MODOK or Spencer. The biggest threat to me was a Wesker player (he was the only one there who actually played the game prior to that night), who actually adopted Felicia into his team after he saw me play as her. Fortunately for me, I never had to face him - I likely would not have won otherwise.

My team was Felicia-Morrigan-Dante, with Rolling Buckler, Dark Harmonizer, and Jam Session as the assists. I’d usually lead with Morrigan and take out the point character with endless Rolling Buckler Assists and Overhead Attacks - made quick work of just about everybody. Once I had enough super built up, I’d get Felicia in and just keep Kitty Helper active. All the time. Kitty Helper + Felicia doing mix-ups + Jam Session just confused the hell out of everybody.

When I had to deal with zoners, I’d use Dante’s teleport. Felicia’s Delta Kick was my best solution for zoners with her on point - Cat Run might be better, but I need to get used to it.

We were all newbies - I was just the one who read Shoryuken.

Is it just me, or you can’t land :l: :m: :h: after Rolling Buckler Slide against Zero? This is bugging me.

I don’t even bother going for the full LMH on everyone. I just go LMLaunch. It saves me possible hitstun headaches.

Scratch that last post, I can land it on Zero but not on Ammy lol

Cat Run isn’t all that great. Against persistent projectile spamming, a lot of the time you’ll dodge one thing only to land directly on top of the next one, giving them a free confirm into hyper; especially against Arthur/Sent.

If you notice that they leave gaps for you to Cat Run through then maybe you can go for it, but that’s assuming they’re not waiting for it to hit your recovery with a reaction hyper.

Wavedashing, Delta Kick and Rolling Buckler seem to be much more useful for getting yourself forwards. The risk is still there, but it’s not as major as with Cat Run.

I suppose you could also try throwing out Kitty Helper and try to avoid blockstun for long enough to hop her all the way across the screen. She only has to touch them once and you should have time to wavedash most of the way across the screen. I haven’t tried this yet so I’ve no idea how effective it will be.

Cat Run is sort of a mixup tool, especially with the right assist. Right now I’m finding her and Doom work wonders together. Those rocks man, those rocks.

Okay, thanks to Sprint’s combo guide, I can land those complicated long OTG :df::m: combos and jump cancel into Rolling Buckler combos with ease. Felt great landing that Please Help Me after OTG’ing, I’ll tell ya that.

We should have meetings for Felicia players on the Box sometime, yo.

Oh god my Felicia is so free. I can’t land the followup :m: after 623B for crap.

I can’t promise much, my Felicia is inconsistent as hell…as is MOST of my play right now.

can’t wait to get home and try these OTG’s out. So excited. Still need to work on keeping my hands calm so it’s more execution less “shit! Mash!”

Also still not sure where I’m at team wise. I wanted Wesker, Felicia, Morrigan. But have started to fall for arthur and MODOK.

Was thinking about using Wesker, Felicia, MODOK but no clues as too which assists help her more.

Something that can help cover the sky, something that can help get her in, or an Overhead or Low assist to help her rushdown and mixups.

Sentinel Drones with her is gahlike.
Also, I got the guide (which seems to love her since she in a lot of photos) and I’m wonder if we should put the frame data for her anywhere.
