MvC3: Felicia thread V2: For All your Broadway Catgirl Nun needs!

I got like 30 minutes of playing around with her at Best Buy today. Didn’t get to try much, so I want to see if what I’m thinking of is viable. On a deep jumpin H that’s pushblocked, the push doesn’t knock her out of attack range–I was able to follow up and make contact with any button standing. Seems like it might be good to use for pressure, especially with a good active assist. You could then use it to bait a pushblock attempt and start a combo with a low.

Combined with the right assist (Doom Rocks?) and you’ve got some good pressure to keep the opponent locked.

This cat is amazing. Mixups for dayyys.

Also, is the spacing strict on the OTG jump cancel roll whiff > M followup? If I do a simple combo like M, c.H, S, j.[M, M, H, S] is the spacing too close for the roll to whiff or does it matter? I could just need more practice on that jump cancel. the d/f M is an awkward move to jump cancel…

You generally don’t have to worry about being too close, but there are a few characters with weird hitboxes (Sentinel) where you need to pretty much juggle them for it to work.

Generally if you’re going for Lv3 and you’ve already got the meter, you’re generally better of putting it at the start of a combo. Just go straight into :qcf::h::m: off the initial hitconfirm and cancel into Lv3, then relaunch into juggle with :df::m::uf::m::m::h::s:.

Sprint would you be willing to test out something for me? I want to find out if Dancing Flash > DHC She-Hulk air throw hyper connects. Do it at the very end of DF to get the opponent to maximum height before doing it.

Well technically, if you did PHM as late as possible, it would do the most damage, due to it being unscaled.

It doesn’t have that much of an effect.
You only lose about 40k damage total for doing it near the start of the combo instead of at the end, and that’s more to do with the combo being a bit shorter.

You can’t combo into She Hulk’s air grab. Ever.

sorry I havne’t been much help either guys, my xbox ALSO broke, so I have to buy a new one ><

Sprint’s got y’all covered tho’

Sorry to hear that Windy! Hope everything works out!

Ouch, talk about lame having your 360 break on you. I thought I had it bad when I ran out of Live XD

Sprint, can you test Felicia’s :df::m: OTG with Deadpool’s Trigger Happy assist and see if it lands?

I think any AAA will work. If it does though, sounds like we could get some nice resets and mixups with it.

Has anybody else found that Felicia owns Sentinel with Kitty Helper and a good rushdown?

I haven’t played a single Sentinel that’s been able to escape it other than with a super lucky :d::m:

Kitty helper seems like a very interesting hyper, kinda like yatterman 2’s hyper in tvc, plus it has to be one of the most adorable hypers in the game, jus saying.

Yeah, it is much like her Honda Robot. Definitely one of (if not the best) utility hyper in the game due to the unblockable setups and just plain pressure. Sentinel will have a hell of a time with it yes, but getting in is the problem.

Everyone and everything owns with Sentinel, he’s a wild card.

Read that again.

Sentinel IS pretty much a wild card. Especially with X-factor. Jeez.

Beside that, I want to know how good Kitty Helper is against that hunk of metal.

Instant overhead vs Sentinel:

:df::m::uf:,:m:,:m:,(:h: or :s: or :h:,:s:)

With proper timing, if any of these hit then the rest will combo.
Ideally, both jumping :m: attacks need to be delayed very slightly. If you do it too fast then the second one can be ducked under, but if you do it too slowly then it won’t combo off :df::m:.

On hit, just follow with :m:,:b::h:,:qcf::h:,:m: into either juggle or Lv3->OTG Relaunch.

Apparently, her standing light is very useful and has good range.
And Windy, might wanna update the first posts

I’ll do that.

also, cute thing I discovered… You can make the kitty helper continue to attack while doing the meter charge. pretty sweet.

edit: You do it by hitting light or medium while holding hard >
