If I get a hankering for some rushdown I think I’m going to try Felicia/Ammy/Viper, Felicia with her Rolling Buckler>kick, Ammy with Cold Star and Viper with Burning Kick.

Does anyone know if kitteh helper attacks in a predictable pattern? It would help for pressure if so. I am going to troll my casual smash friends who think my DeDeDe is annoying…
Just noticed, second video the one with the ball at close range does a cross up while going past the character on the ground, not to mention the bar charge but able to keep it short unlike a tuant so you can charge it in many situations just at difference lengths. Too early to say top tier?
She activates it by attacking, so you can control when it starts, just fires off at max speed during a chain tho’.
and bittersweet yeah: The crossup might not work in some circumstances, depends on model size whether they’re ducking, etc. The :snkc: version goes REALLY high tho’, so it should go over just about anybody.
Hey, this is my first SRK post, so I hope I’m not asking/suggesting anything redundant or worthless, I just didn’t really want to read through 9 pages of a thread in one sitting.
Feel free to correct me for any misconceptions, I won’t pretend I’m an expert.
From what I’ve noticed so far it looks like Felicia is going to have an amazing ground game, with a weak air presence, so it seems like useful assists for her would be: Projectiles (My opinion on the best would be Molecular Shield), a Low Assist (It seems like Wesker’s will be the best for this, since X-23’s assist has more start up time, I haven’t looked at Torpedo yet) or an AA assist (Right now I think Dante’s is the best from a viewer’s perspective, but Morrigian also looks sweet) an Overhead would have worth, but it seems redundant with Kitty Helper.
Right now I’m curious if anybody knows the recovery on her Cat Run, if you can attack/block instantly after this I could see it being fun to use Doom’s Rock assist + Cat Run to hit them from both sides, either using Cat Spike (If they block low) or Rolling Buckler/Crouching Regular move if they block high.
I’m not positive though if hitting a character from both sides actually does anything other than look cool though, so this might be worthless, but I still think Doom will be one of the best assists for her.
At the moment I’m hoping to do a Felicia (Overhead Assist) X-23 (Low Assist) Dr. Doom (Molecular Shield Assist)
I know this isn’t my blog or anything, but I’m curious if a set up like that sounds viable (from a theory-crafting perspective of course) to anyone else. The biggest worry I have for it is the lack of an Air presence with this team, but idk for sure how Felicia does in an air to air situation.
Felicia is gonna be all about ground game, so the fact that she lacks air mobility will probably be the ONLY weakness. On my part, I would say that you would need to have an AA assist to replace either the low or the keep-away assist like the Doom Rocks. It’s solely based on your team chemistry. If you feel like you need Doom, keep him. Vice-Versa for X-23 or Wesker or She-Hulk. Kitty Helper is AMAZING with pressure so use that a lot.
From the looks of it, her Cat Run seems pretty legit in terms of recovery. It’s just a matter of not abusing it too much or else the opponent will see if it is punishable. At this point, there doesn’t seem to be any HUGE recovery time, but it still looks like a solid move. Doom Rocks and Cat Run is theoretically a good idea and even better to try and follow up with a Cat Spike overhead to catch them crouch guarding.
Doom is a good assist, just gotta see more action.
All in all, try using an AA assist in your team if you feel like you ABSOLUTELY NEED it.
Think of cat run as a slow teleport with extremely quick startup and recovery. With the input change its possible you can choose where she comes out now, so that could be good.
Cross arounds and fake cross arounds.
Sounds like fun.
Still don’t know who I want to pair her with. I need to see how good some of these assist are.
I having that problem myself. I want Felicia in my secondly team but I have no clue who to pair her with. If she doesn’t have any AA options on her own I’ll add someone with a AAA assist. Knowing that she can control the ground with rushdown shenanigans I’m leaning towards having a lockdown assists like Chun’s lighting kicks. I’m hoping Thor’s Mighty Smash assist has awesome lockdown as I want to play him too.
If only there was someone here who knew what to use with Felicia. If only…if only.

This video is what I needed to see. Mighty Smash assist really does benefit Felicia. There was an instance where it stuffed Chun’s lighting kicks. Thor should fit in team Felicia quite nicely
It’s cute that Hulk calls her Catgirl.
By the way, that 1UP video had a better Felicia than a whole lot of other videos out there. We gotta CRACK THE CODE.

Those vids are really great, and answer some AG concerns (could use delta kick in place of cart spike too I think).
That’s not gonna be enough to won with her tho’, gotta develop those mix-ups more.
Looks like c cat spike will go over the tallest enemies tho’.
