Also, I think it will be a new 3D game with limited roster, where old players will not care using the TvC engine.
And yeah, Marvel Super Heroes 2 would be a better idea, use the srkulls plot or civil war an go on…
You say that like that will be a problem. They only need to include like ten or so characters for the cast to be effectively the same in terms of playability and another ten or so for the fans. I’m thinking something like,

Theres ALWAYS gonna be old school bitchin about new school an vice versa…especailly when it comes to learning a new game/characters etc in a series continuation. Yeah, I can careless if tourny champs won’t touch it. And lol at all the discouraging comments for a MvC3, when TvC coming to the West and MvC2 coming to XBLA was a freakin party. Betting everyone in this thread will buy MvC3 full price.

Just what I think might be put in the game. I would really want those KH versions of the trio though, but not sure if they can do it, because Square Enix was involved in the game, but since SE were borrowing Disney’s characters, disney would probably override that and SE won’t get any money from them.

Highly doubt Disney characters will make it. Disney got Marvel but we’ve yet to see Disney just throw Donald in X-Men. Most likely we’ll only see Marvel’s hero book characters in the game. Sadly, that means very little chance of Kick-Ass characters (in the same way we don’t have Watchmen characters in MKvDC). I do agree Marvel may throw in some characters that cross-promote their current strategies, while Capcom may address long standing requests from fans.

you saying that Disney wouldn’t want to make some bread off of this or use it as an opportunity to get more people to play, mostl likely children by including their trademark characters? Wathcmen wasn’t in MKvsDC because Watchmen isn’t that popular outside of the core comic fans, not to mention it came out before the movie did.

So this guy who leaked the info is usually correct? I didn’t realize he leaked the cast of super(did he leak even the new characters?), so I’m really fucking hoping this is going to happen.

Yes he leaked all of Super’s cast.
Technically Disney gets money regardless, and they’ll do it without compromising their character’s images (Mickey doing an aerial rave combo isn’t really in their plans). Kingdom Hearts works because the themes are friendly across the universes (in case somebody aims to bring this up). And although Mickey’s fairly badass in KH, don’t think it’s something Disney wants to run with. Also, Disney’s already on record saying they’re not going to interfere with how Marvel’s been doing their licensing deals. The buyout will result in new projects from Marvel’s underused catalog. As I said, they’re not putting Donald in the X-Men. I trust this extends to games as well.
