but which projectiles are considered low? IM, Thor, deadpool, Dante, all seem to have high projectiles, and her air version of her dash slash (when she dives down after) looks to be able to handle low/mid projectiles well from the punish she did to Cap during gameplay. S-kill stated in a recent gameplay interview that your able to perform some unblockable setups using her assist too. So while not a big fan of the character shes really caught my interest.
I would assume its more the projectiles that are closer to the ground. I.e. Ryu, Morrigan, Chris, Dormammu, etc. There do seem to be a lot of projectiles that are higher up in this game then in previous.
You got a point there, only one I’ve seen so far is Cap’s. That said, it seems useful for going under a projectile when you’re on the ground and close enough to start any of her BnBs out of dash.
It still doesn’t make sense to pin her as the killer of those characters. CAPCOM has to think of storyline, uniqueness in gameplay, and plenty of other things when they consider a character. Obviously they have their reasons for excluding them, but it’s most likely not “because X-23 should be in over all of these characters”.
Hell, with Wolverine you can say there’s a Fantastic 4 member, a member of the Defenders, Heroes for Hire, Shield agent, former Four Horseman, Alpha Flight, Weapon X, Exile, am I missing anything?

But what difference does it make if I read the comics or not? X23 isnt more memorable than any of the characters who SHOULD have made it in over her, and thats all it boils down to.
You talk about people who havent read the comics but the same general consumer these games are marketed to havent read the comics OR played MvC2 (well, at least) anyways.

I think you’re thinking of The Pack, from the Mutant X comics, alternate version of Wolverine, Sabertooth and Wild Child, I think. Power Pack was the group of kids.

I think x-23’s level 3 is a spin off of spirals original super instead of just glowing she become invisible press/hit any button to grab.

Story arc had the Power Pack and Franklin Richards going back in time to save a young boy named James Howlett from being kidnapped, James Howlett off course being a young Wolverine.
Avengers and X-force.Heck, Wolverine was a orginally a Hulk character. I don’t think Wolvy was in the HFH and the ones in Exiles were from other dimensions.
Same with Hulk.
He was in the F4 with wolverine, Avengers, Defenders, Pantheon, Warbound.
Anyway, X-23 is fine choice. She is popular and even has her own ongoing book.
Subtitle needs to be instead: “My arm’s chainsaw’ed!”
I think “Bred for Murder” suits her better. Those who read X-Force should know why.
