Spiderwoman is so different to Spiderman in everything that I always felt is a disservice to Jessica being called Spiderwoman.

Yeah, good points. Seems like she’s a real rushdown pain in the ass. Nice screen control too, with that Cammy-esque spiral arrow/cannon drill in the air.
I’ll def be using her, I always seem to gravitate towards rushdown females in fighting games. They always seem to have that nice mix of speed/power which I like in my characters.
I’ll pick her up. She seems like one of those characters most people will past over when they go to pick deadpool, spidey, wolv, dante, etc. They won’t know how her playstyle works since they won’t bother to play her.

People are saying that with what Capcom has to choose from, its just sucky that they choose her over say…Gambit or Silver surfer.
Do we HATE x23? No. Are there better choices than X23, given what we see SO FAR…well…kinda. Yea nobody really knows why they pick her or why they DIDNT pick [insert] character but its just funny that her comic is coming out soon so it seems like cross-promotion more than the actual crying out from fans to have her in the game.
Is one slot out of at least 30 going to kill anyone? Of course not…but when you only have 30…again, why not make the most of those slots?
X23 maybe be more valuable to some people, so im not going to say shes useless and nobody wants her and nobody will play her. I only say (which is true) that they had better to choose from. Its not just x23, I think shes more liked than Felicia lol.

Yeah, if we had even ten more character slots, I don’t think there would be quite as much disapproval of X-23. I’ll wait until the whole roster is revealed to decide if she was worth the admission, thank you very much.
Other than one character they are making the most of these slots especially on the Capcom side. This is going to sound mad elitist, but most of you guys bitching about characters like X-23 haven’t read comics in a long time or never read them in the first place and probably just saw the cartoons & movies.

I thought I remember quite a few people saying that they would prefer X-23 a while ago for a wolverine clone that wasn’t identical like Bone Claw was in MvC2. Some people even had her in their wishlists.
Actually, both companies decide who gets put in on both sides. I wouldn’t be surprised if each company had more power for their respective side, but it has been stated many times by Seth Killian that both companies have input.
Niitsuma described it as submitting to Marvel a list of characters they wanted to add from that side, then Marvel would returning either Okaying a character, offering alternative suggestions, or outright vetoing certain characters, like in Cyclop’s case.

For people hung up how X-23 got the same outfit as Trish they have time to change it, actually I wouldn’t mind see the X-Force outfit or this one
i would love if that outfit made it into the game…but i dont see it happening lol
she looks interesting. I’d rather play her than Wolvie(at least her move set looks fun to check out).
Alternate costumes are no big deal in 3D fighting games compared to making them for the old sprite-based Vs. games. I’m sure we’ll get at least one, possibly as DLC if not in at launch.
X 23 will be an acquired taste and the same haters would be loving her

I have to admit, when I first heard her announcement, I was disappointed… seemed like a wasted slot since we had Wolverine and such. Even now I think I might prefer a couple other characters if it came down to a choice between them, but I’m a lot more pysched for her now, she’s definitely got some cool shit, and a nice cammy/talbain vibe to her that separates her from Wolverine.
