Ryu, Chun Li, Ironman, Captain America, Wolverine, Hulk and Morgan are the only old school characters from the old times. A lot of new faces, some characters from Marvel vs Capcom 2 were added on Marvel vs Capcom; which are Felicia and T. Bonne. So, I doubt we’re gonna be seeing OLD OLD Skools and they’re aiming for new players to enjoy the game… They’re not even focusing on old skool folks that played the first game COTA.
However, X-23 doesn’t seem bad, but I want old skool characters. Bring Ken, Akuma, Cyke at least. Also CHarlie.
Doesn’t automatically follow tho’, especially on the Marvel side, we know that Capcom wanted at least a few characters that were Vetoed. So a character you don’t like doesn’t automatically mean a character you like got shut out just for them.
What is with this forum and this kind of thinking? What, you think Marvel gave Capcom an ultimatum? “Okay guys, you can use X-23 or Cyclops, but not both. God help you if you use both. Pick one.”
I really hope this isn’t considered an X-Men slot. I hope they put in good Marvel females soon. With female Hulk and female wolverine it’s just a fucking joke.
I consider X-23 more interesting then those…and I hate Enchantress,Scarlett Witch has been off the radar since she went psychoshe may get better idk Ms Marvel’s alrighteven if she is a hypocrite Spider Woman people would probably be bitching about her being announced instead of Spider Man though I may be biased since she was one of my faves in X Men evolution.
Objectively speaking, you won’t know if she’s “wasted” until the game comes out. If no one uses her, then you can fault the developers for wasting a slot, whether by bad artistic merit, or terribad gameplay.

I don’t think they’re as strict with slots with Marvel characters as they are with Capcom ones. I mean, we already have 4 Avengers already and 3 X-Men (well, one character is technically a member of both), compare this to the Capcom side which seems to be doing 2 per franchise.
Really I consider She-Hulk perfect for fighting gamesshe’s got the look and is a brawler especially compared to Emma Frost and Jean Grey. Black Widow I thought would would be a shoein considering that she was in IM2 and is supposed to be in The Avengers film
Yes, thank you! Honestly, the only thing I’m not liking about X-23 so far is her theme, and thats not that big of a deal (to me). When the game comes out is when I’ll make my final decisions on each character, but so far I’m kind of preferring X-23 over Wolverine.
I don’t think she’d work too well… Yeah she can fight, but as a fighter she isn’t anything special. Not that she isn’t strong, just what defines her as a character are all personality and situational and have little to do with her in combat.
x-23 actually looks juicy to me and looks like she has great rushdown,punishment, and screen control. her ground hugging dash move looks like a serois problem who thinks there gonna shoot guns with deadpool all day i actually wanna see her do her thing.
