If X-23 in the game is the reason Cyclops didn’t make it in, then assuming She-Hulk makes it in, who did she cause to be left out?
I have a deep emotional resistance to She-Hulk making it in, no idea why.
I’m a I really one of the few people who actually like She-Hulk?
I dont think anyone dislikes She Hulk, its the fact that we already have Hulk.
So now adding x23 AND She Hulk would be a bit of insult to injury.
I dislike She-Hulk.
she hulk is awesome, haters gon hate. i hope she gets in and storm too. i just dont like x-23 cause shes one of those gimmicky early 00s characters

Why can’t people accept that not everyone on the roster is going to be to their liking?
Personally, I’ve made my peace with the fact that certain other characters that I’d like to see are likely not going to make it in, you don’t see me posting in other threads about how so-and-so should be in instead of that thread’s character.
I agree with d3v, theres gonna be 30+ characters in this game and most people are gonna play 3 of them, or 6 if you have a secondary team. I really think that people have to respect other peoples opinions, and be open to characters that they might think would be horrible additions. Not saying I’m perfect either, if you look in the speculation thread I’m ripping the idea of Modok to shreds, but at the same time, I just think everyone could be a bit more open minded.

Thats not the issue. Its 30 slots so all 30 need to be drastically different. So lol @ taking it on the chin when X23 still feels like Wolverine with boobs and people still want to see She Hulk.
Maybe if there were 63 slots but not this time.
x-23 looks a fair bit different than wolverine tho’, in actual play.
But it’s stupid to say that she’s a simple clone when we’ve seen that her moves (and likely playstyle) are different from Wolverine’s. The only similar thing is that she has claws. If anything, Morrigan is more of a Ryu clone than X is of Logan.

Well having a fireball and anti-air uppercut can technically make anyone look like a Ryu clone.
But Im not saying x23 is a clone, I said shes more like Wolverine than not. And it kinda sucks that shes wearing Trish’s costume at that.

There is a difference between liking a character and wanting them in MvC3. Some characters, while they may be cool in whatever comics/movies/games they are in, don’t lend themselves to being very compelling fighting game characters.

How can you assume a character “stole” a slot from a character when you don’t even know WHY that character isn’t going to make the cut? (And even then, why would CAPCOM replace a possible choice with another one…you can’t replace something you never considered.)
Come on, people, use your head. That’s just silly. Over 30 characters in the roster, and just because you don’t like a character they’re the reason why another got excluded? =/ Picking out scapegoats is not the way to go.
Limited number of slots. Some are good choices to have that slot, some are not. X-23 is a fairly plain character that resembles Wolverine. Meanwhile Strange and Ghost Rider, far more flamboyant and unique characters, are absent.
