So does this basically mean that the only way to get the game early from the Capcom store is via “Next Day Shipping”? Ahhhhhh 15 more bucks for the chance that MAYBE i’ll get it early?
Honestly part of me is temped to just wait it out and see if Gamestop starts taking pre-orders again…
i don’t think that they will. the guy there today said that capcom cut them off from accepting preorders. he tried to get me to cop the regular version, tho.
i hit him with a stoneface, said na i’m good and left. if dlc characters weren’t included in the SE then cool, but the only way to get them is through the SE for now so i need the SE version. i ordered from the capcom store and did us economy postal. i really hope that i get this game by the 15th OR EARLIER.
Yeah, my invoice for the game from the Capcom store doesn’t have an “anticipated release” date in there so I’m hoping it ships on that day. I’m actually moving at the end of February and I sure as hell don’t want it to get lost in the mail or whatever during my move process. All I want is my Shuma-Gorath shirt!
May I pose an honest question? Why get from anywhere else but Capcom directly? They give the best/most stuff have free (albeit a bit slower) shipping and still have some in stock.
because most of us want to play the game asap and its a better option going in the store than it is ordering online unless you know for sure you’re going to get it the day of…
playing the waiting game for the delivery on the delivery day is terrible, too. oh well, i waited ten years and i can wait a few weeks.
shopto.net needs to be put in the first post as it is (as far as I can tell), the cheapest option for UK gamers and comes with a comic which nowhere else is doing (t-shirts at a couple of places is all we have).

But seriously Amazon was my best bet due to the release day shipping costing only 99 cents and their need to have positive reviews (aka if my package is lost they will credit me and send another one ASAP). I also have Amazon credit.

Any reason sumone gives you is probably gonna be personal because it’s there reason for not wanting to order from capcom.
Not having a way to shop online can be a problem for some… no debit card no credit card and its just easier to go to a store and buy it then say, trouble sumone to use there card to buy ya sumthing online. Also the main reason to me would be that a lot of people have credit and have items they can trade in to make the price of the game free if not put a huge dent or even a small one compared to paying full price. If you have $100 at gamestop in credit and its not for sumthing particular why pay full price for it just because the people that made it will give it to you.’
so even though you say no personal reasons which i find weird, having as early as possible ie… getting there when the store opens instead of waiting till mid day to receive a package and the option to trade items in and or use credit toward the purchase which you cannot do with The Capcom Store are both good reasons to not order from capcom.
It can also be a gift for sumone u live with and you don’t want them to see the package.

Yeah ShopTo (roughly £32.85) have it for a quid cheaper than TheHut (which is where i pre-ordered mine £33.85.) However, ShopTo seem to be selling the comic for a tenner separately. So my plan was to get a T-shirt and then get the comic separately later. Gambling a bit that after the game comes out, the comic is still available…at the moment you can’t pre-order it.

People at Capcom have said numerous times that if you order it from then you SHOULD get it by release day. They of course did not garentee that but they have it set up to be delivered by release day, barring any random situations delaying it.
if it ships on the 10th, even with their free shipping we should get it by the 15th.
for the record, my email says that the estimated ship time is the 10th as well. i didn’t see it on my comp but when i checked on my iphone it had that date.

If you are West coast (I’m assuming Capcom ships from West coast) then your Capcom order might get there early. But I doubt East coast shipments will make it before Tuesday, maybe Monday if you’re lucky.
My order is with Amazon, had a ton of credit, only paying like $25 for the SE.
